Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. how long does it take to fill up the entire tank with chemistry? i believe 5rolls of 135 would require 1500ml of it. do you need to compensate for time to avoid over develop negatives in the bottom?

A: It's only a matter of 10-15 seconds. I compensate about 5 seconds and have never had issues! I've never directly measured how much chemistry, but use a 2L kit and life is easy. I would guess its more around 1600ml!!

Q: 2. Can I use this tank to process 8x10" color prints using RA-4 chemicals?

A: Unfortunately no but you can use this Jobo instead: https://bhpho.to/3d6s1p9

Q: 3. Does this reel come with the handle and crank? Description says they're optional, but I don't see them listed under the accessories.

A: As you see it, it comes with the tall, non-folding top handle and that direct crank handle. However, if you need to save space, you can order an optional, folding top handle and an optional, removable crank handle.

Q: 4. what's difference between this and Paterson 4 x 5 Sheet Film Developing Tank with Reel?

A: Thus reply may not be helpful, but I will try -- Paterson tanks have interchangable parts. Between the parts you will need to buy and those you may already have, for 4x5 you will need a tall tank, a long center tube, and a 4x5 holder. The holder looks vaguely like a dragon and holds up to 6 sheets. I have loaded mine with up to 4 sheets in a changing bag. The tank holds twice the developer of a short tank (which is for one 120 roll of film.) If you have two 120 spools, you can develop two 120 rolls. instead of the 4x5 sheets.Other parts: a funnel to make the tank light tight, a tank top to keep the fluids in place, and a twist part to allow agitation. These are the same for small or large tanks and come with the tank.l

Q: 5. How tall is this tank? I am looking for something to process 5x12" sheet film.

A: This is less the 11" tall

Q: 6. How many ounces does this hold when full?

A: The tank requires 10oz (290ml) per 35mm roll of film. The tank can hold 5 rolls of 35mm film so it would require 50oz (1,450ml). The tank can also hold 3 rolls of 120/220 film that requires 17oz (500ml) per roll, so that is 51oz (1,500ml) for 3 rolls of 120/220 film.

Q: 7. Do I necessarily need to develop either 3 35mm rolls or 2 120 rolls to use it or can I develop just 2 35mm rolls?

A: You can certainly develop anywhere from 1-3 rolls without any issue.

Q: 8. I know it says that this (Paterson 35mm) tank will take a single 35mm but will it also take a single 120?

A: No.If you want to develop for 120 film, check the Paterson Universal Tank with Two Reels (Super System 4) On that one you can adjust the reel height to accomodate the 120 film.

Q: 9. Will it accept the Nikkor/Honeywell stainless steel film reels ?

A: No, stainless steel developing reels are not compatible with this tank.

Q: 10. I'm guessing the answer is Yes, but can I develop 1x135 AND 1x120 in ths Multi-Reel 3 tank? But not 2x135 and 1x120.

A: That is correct. Either a single 35mm and a single 120 at the same time OR two 35mm OR two 120. A tip if using one 35mm and one 120 is to take half of another reel and put that in the top of the tank to make sure the two teels with the film are pushed below the developer level. Sometimes in certain instances if you leave that gap the reels will float to the top after agitation and they may rise above the level of the developer leaving part of the film in the top reel to be undeveloped. Putting one side of another reel on the top prevents that from happening.

[Non-plenum] This is excellent quality cable that remains flexible in sub freezing conditions. No inner stiffener, so this is easy cable to route in tight bends. This is my favorite Catagory6 cable. Solid copper. 23awg.

[38.65 lb] We wanted to get pink cable to distinguish our cables in a shared closet space. This was the only place I could find bulk cable in this color at a good price. Because the cable comes from a third party, the shipping took a little longer than expected, but B&H support was very helpful and prompt with relaying that information when it became available to them.

[82] This Category 6 cable worked great for me when running it for 8 POE 2k security cameras.

[Non-plenum] We are using this wire to set up a IP-based multi-camera system all powered by PoE. This wire is solid-core and has pretty heavy sheathing, so it's a bit stiff to pull through walls. (This isn't so bad--I'd rather have a little too stiff than too flimsy.) The colors on the individual wires are bright, which is great after having dealt with other brands where the orange and brown are almost indistinguishable. So far the wire has held up well and we've had no issues with signal loss or power loss over 75- to 100-foot runs. It's not the cheapest wire, but it is a good value, especially for long PoE runs. Definitely recommended.

[38.65 lb] This wire works great. It's easy to work with. It strips easy and doesn't break easy.
