The black ST121UTP VGA Video Extender over Cat5 from StarTech allows you to extend your VGA video signal by up to 500’ (150m) and connect up to 4 displays (2 local and 2 remote) from that single source. The ST121UTP from the ST121 Series is a bundled kit including both a local transmitter and a remote receiver unit, offering a complete solution for scenarios in which remote monitor displays are required.

The local unit features a single VGA input as well as 2 VGA outputs giving you the ability to view and split your source VGA signal to 2 independent displays locally. The VGA video signal is then sent over standard 4 pair Category 5 or better UTP cable to the remote unit which also features 2 additional VGA outputs giving you the freedom to display your VGA source on up to 4 monitors in total.

The included mounting bracket provides versatile mounting options such as a wall, desk, or cabinet.

[Aluminum] Not much else to say about these but the fact that they work. You could spend more and get the Geffens, but those are virtually identical to these.

[Aluminum] Used two of these on a Dell 7010 i5-3470 with the built-in Intel 2500 graphics, together with the built-in VGA port, to run THREE VGA monitors simultaneously under Windows 10 .

Need to disable the Dell driver and then get the driver from Intel as Dell disable 3-screen functionality.

I was a little sceptical at first whether these would do the job, as many 'active' adapters are a lot more expensive. An added bonis is that these don't need a separate USB port for power.

[9 VDC] I bought {much} cheaper ones' and they failed to work. This one worked first time, every time, no issues. Gets my vote as does B&H for carrying it.

[500' (150 m)] Best ever remote hookup for a projector. Run a CAT5 cable from the computer in the back to the projector in the front- instant video. This was a replacement for one purchased 6 years ago, which began distorting colors. New set fixed it right up.
