[0.01 lb] Big improvement to the Zf shutter button feel. The silver is chrome and the black is shiny, unlike the B&H/Nikon product photo that makes them look matte. However, the soft release does exactly match the buttons on the front of the Nikon Zf, which are also chrome and shiny black.

The only problem is they are very small, 8 - 12mm and are very easy to lose due to the differences in sizes between shutter buttons. [0.01 lb] Functional bling for your shutter release threaded camera. I remember the days of using an old F2 with soft shutter release and how much better the experience was with that little doo-dad. I purchased one of these modern versions for my Nikon Zf and couldn't be happier!
My first impression was wow! That's a lot of money for such a tiny accessory, and there are cheaper alternatives for sure, but the Nikon one is by far the prettiest and even has the Nikon name imprinted. So I threaded it onto my Zf and was instantly impressed! Looks good, feels great! You can really feel the half press and full press feels more solid. Always thought these modern soft releases to be a bit of a joke, but this feels really good under finger. Do you absolutely need it? No. Does it enhance user experience while adding to the retro look of the Zf? YES! For this I definitely recommend this Nikon soft release!

[Threaded Screw] Pricey little bugger, I should give this four stars but, I purchase OME first. Made well with ever detail, its like your finger resting on a heavenly cloud. The function allows me to safely half depress to active the meters on my Nikon film cameras without concern of tripping the shutter after cocked. The half depressed action is positive and felt.

[Threaded Screw] The shutter release is obviously small, but fits perfectly with the aesthetics of the Nikon Zf camera. Other options I've seen include the JJC soft shutter release, which will also look great with this camera. I preferred the more authentic look of the Nikon button, however.
