A: I don't have the 8TB. I do have the 3TB. The specs are probably about the same. 8.2 X 5.1 X 1.7 I don't know how much it weighs but it was much heavier than I expected, maybe a couple of pounds. I was surprised when I lifted it. That's good because it will stay put when you're using it with a laptop. Happy shopping.

A: While the Glyph Technologies 2TB Blackbox PRO 7200 rpm USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 External Hard Drive does have a USB-C cable to connect to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, I would use an external SSD instead to take advantage of faster transfer speeds. A great option would be (B&H #SAE612TB) as it is faster and pocket sized, making it easier to travel with.

A: Unfortunately it does not support 256 bit AES it's supports 128 bit encryption.

A: It means you don't need an external power supply. It's powered by the USB cable.

A: The reference to the enterprise is about the drive itself.

A: Yes. You can see it on the picture if you zoom in. It's also in the product description, USB 3.1 Type-C Connectivity . By the way, USB 3.1 is backwards compatible if your computer uses a USB 2.0.

A: Unfortunately, the manufacture doesn't specify what brand of HDD they use or HDD model for this product. Sorry for any inconvenience.

[6.2 x 4.1 x 2"] This is my 4th Glyph hard drive. Solid, reliable, and with speeds true to spec. I purchased this for Time Machine backups, so this 5400 rpm model, compared to the more expensive 7200 rpm, is plenty fast and quiet. Glyph uses the same drives as everyone else, what you are also paying for is reliable hardware, interface, and warranty/customer service. 5

[1 TB] I use it to back up my two Mac computers. First I partition them in half, then I save a Carbon Copy Clone on one side and Time Machine on the other. Works beautifully. Glyph hard drives are the best and most reliable available. 5

[6.2 x 4.1 x 2"] I bought this to replace a G-Technology drive. I have always been uncomfortable with the G drive, the first copy I received was faulty right out of the box. (B&H was great with the exchange!!) And, the second copy has always acted weird (in my opinion). It started getting really slow and was constantly shutting off even with trying to change the settings on my computer. So, in fear of losing everything, I bought this Glyph drive. It has been great right out of the box. Set up was a breeze, transferring files was a breeze. I use an external hard drive to keep my thousands of images, so if the G-Technology drive crashed, I would not have been happy! While I have only had it a few days, I can tell the tremendous difference in the two. Even though the G drive was Thunderbolt this Glyph drive is much more responsive. It's always a crap shoot when buying new gear, so I was a little afraid that I was going to experience the same issues. But, this drive works like a dream! I would totally recommend it. 5

[6.2 x 4.1 x 2"] Been using Glyph Black Box Mobile HDs for a number of years and have been pleased with their reliability. They are small, sleek and quiet. The only disconcerting issue is that there is no on off switch and they do not always seem to power down until they are disconnected from the computer. 5
