A: I would guess not. Not only is it unlikely ant 10.12 compatable hardware has standard PCI ports, the manufacturer has a poor record with drivers. I was not able to get this device to work on any of my supposidly compatable computers.

Q: 6. Would I be able to convert the feed from an Camera with an HDMI cable to the USB 3.0 while keeping the resolution?

A: I do not know. The product is advertised to convert from USB 3 to HDMI with no indication that it can convert in the other direction (other than, presumably, for basic device communication). You need to ask the manufacturer.

A: This is a Gen. 2.0 product.Max throughput of card is limited by host bus interface. If used with ExpressCard Gen 1.0 enabled computer, max throughput is 2.5 Gb/s. and with Gen 2.0, max throughput is 5 Gb/s.

A: The system requirements as far as power goes is a USB port. So as long as you have a computer with a USB port and the right Windows or Mac system it should work.

[Positive] Works great and is easy to use, you can even daisy chain them together. The power brick is very loose when plugged into a electrical socket but a bit of gaff tape easily fixes the problem. 5
