A: Quantum does not list how long it will last with a camera. There are many variables. But the battery is a lot stronger than then an EN-EL4 battery.My guess is at least two times longer than what you are getting with the EN-EL4 battery and how you shoot.

A: You can use Sanyo rechargeable AA batteries in a shoe mount flash while the Turbo SC battery is plugged into it.

Q: 3. On my old Quantum flash I used a Norman 400B battery pack. Can that be used with the newer Quantum heads? Thanks

A: That flash does work with the Norman batteries. There is one Quantum flash that works with the 400B battery with the use of an adapter.The flash is the QFX model. A: I am not familiar with the Yongnuo flash. As a former EK sales rep, I would say your customer's best bet would be to contact Turbo Customer Service direct. I can tell you that they do stress the importance of using the correct cord with the flash. Good luck.

A: While I do not see IATA approval for specific batteries, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries are allowed both in carry-on baggage in the aircraft cabin and in checked baggage. The batteries must be protected from damage and short circuit or installed in a device. As such, yes, the Quantum Instruments Turbo SC Battery Pack is compatible for air transport on airline planes, both in carry-on luggage and checked luggage.
