Q: 3. I currently have the Pocket Wizard Plus X for off camera flash. I am looking to have use of both off camera and on camera flash. Will this transmitter fire both my off camera flash connected to the Plus X AND the on camera speed light when connected to this hot shoe?

A: Yes it will fire both the off camera flash connected to the Plus X AND the on camera speed light when connected to this hot shoe.

Q: 4. Can this unit be directly attached to the Manfrotto MHXPRO 2W video fluid head?

A: We are not aware of this remote fitting on to the rosette of the MHXPRO 2W Head. You may need the Manfrotto Pan Bar Clamp Attachment for MVR901EPLA and MVR901EPEX Pan Bar Remotes to connect it to that head. https://bhpho.to/2xmQpeG

Q: 5. Can the TT5 be used with the Nikon D810 and SB5000 in TTL mode or just manual?

A: I guess the only reason to buy these product is to be use as TTL, other wise get another kind of transmitter

Q: 6. Is this the correct HV cable for use with Nissin i60 speedlight B&H # NIND60AS ?

A: This flash would accept a Quantum CL5 type cable for Sony flashes for use with a high voltage pack. However, that cable has been discontinued with no replacement being offered.

Q: 7. I currently have 430EXll Cannon Speedlight, is the Turbo 3 Rechargeable Battery by Quantum campatable with this?

A: Unfortunately, the Canon 430EX II is not compatible with the Quantum Turbo line of batteries. It is compatible with the QB1+ battery (B&H # QUQB1P), though. You would just need the MB5 (B&H # QUMB5). Otherwise, to use the Turbo batteries, you would need to upgrade flashes to the 580EX II or 600EX-RT.

Q: 8. Currently, the EN-EL4 will give me about 325 to 340 shots at around 25 to 30 second exposures for star trails and time lapses. I know these things vary with application but Nikon rates the batter to 4000 regular exposures. How much longer can this batter last than 1 EN-EL4?

A: Quantum does not list how long it will last with a camera. There are many variables. But the battery is a lot stronger than then an EN-EL4 battery. My guess is at least two times longer than what you are getting with the EN-EL4 battery and how you shoot.

Q: 9. On my old Quantum flash I used a Norman 400B battery pack. Can that be used with the newer Quantum heads? Thanks

A: That flash does work with the Norman batteries. There is one Quantum flash that works with the 400B battery with the use of an adapter. The flash is the QFX model. The link for that is, http://bhpho.to/1efe2TGAnd the adapter is, http://bhpho.to/Kt2SS9This flash is not a shoe mount flash. So to use it on a Nikon camera in TTL you will need an adapter to make it TTL and a flash bracket. The TTL adapter for Nikon is at this link, http://bhpho.to/Kt4Nq7

Q: 10. I currently use a pair of PW PlusX to sync my Canon 1Ds3 to Profoto Acute2 and Profoto Compact monolight. I'd like to utilize higher sync speeds and do not need TTL, just manual settings. Do I need just one FlexTT5 to go with my PlusX or do I need a pair?

A: You will need the PW MiniTT1 or a FlexTT5 for the camera and two TT5's for your lights, once you setup the TT1 or TT5 (on camera) & TT5 on your lights you will be able to do the HSS. TTL works good & manual is just as good in the right settings. Hope this works for you.

Lots of articulations that play well together. I also find the synchron player easier/faster to use than Vienna's older Vienna Instrument player or Kontakt based sample sets. Note that Elite sits somewhere between Chamber and Pro/I orchestra in terms of number of strings. I find that the number of strings in the Pro/I orchestra is enough that you lose some of that sense of 'bow on string'. With Elite you still hear some of that 'bow on the string'. Layering Elite on Pro is also really useful.

This is my seventh virtual piano. See my review of the Bösendorfer also by VSL — this is just as supremely recorded and I prefer the Steinway sound. It's hard to see how anyone will ever do any better than this. There are 10 different microphone positions (plus the room mix which incorporates several of them in the standard library; I think the full library gives added richness). I use eight of them (not the Main or the main-C) and the plate reverb at 30% which I like better than the algorithmic reverb or the delay. If you can't afford the full, the standard will still be superior to anything else out there.

It's not a big sample library but the bell tones are excellent! I could not find a comparable library for this type of bell sound from the other big name sample library companies, so this fills a niche missed by others.

The Synchron interface is SO much easier to use (than the former Vienna Symphonic Instruments plugin). Sound quality and playability are impeccable.

Best piano library I've experienced. Vibrant sound, customization and dynamics are all there. If you are into CFX or trying to add it to your arsenal, do not hesitate.

a great closely MICed string ensemble. great for small orchestra work. Definetly a learning curve to figure things out, but rewards when you do.

LOTS of articulations that play well with each other. The Synchron Player is also much easier to use than either Kontakt based sample libraries or Vienna's earlier Vienna Instruments based libraries.
