[Silver] This is fairly easy to use, and allows me to take straight down shots. It is balanced and doesn't tip - works just like I hoped it would!

[Yes] This is my third Wafer Softbox.I chose this brand because of the care for material the company uses for the construction of this reliable product. After you mount the softbox you feel a strong and heavy duty piece of equipment working for you.The material used is non flamable and you get an even light all over the front fabric wich is great for shooting products.You get no hot spots.

[Silver] I bought this to photograph my diecast/model collection and items to sell on-line. I have some larger items that I didn't think would fit in this small (15x15x23) lighthouse so I thought I would save some money and buy the large (24x24x36) lighthouse to shoot all my items regardless of size, rather than buying one for the big items and one for the smaller times. The large lighthouse is very good, but also a lot larger than I realized. 3 feet didn't seem to be that big until I put it on my shooting table. Although it provided very well lit photos, it was rather unwieldy to move around and took up too much space, so I decided to get this small lighthouse. This is the one I should have bought in the first place. The size is just right for 90% of the items I want to photograph. It is very easy to set up, adjust, move around, collapse and put away. The pictures coming out have great lighting. The construction is very good. I comes with a nice carrying case that it readily fits into and makes storage easy and compact. If you are photographing small to medium objects this is the lighthouse you are looking for. If you are photographing small to medium objects and large objects buy this lighthouse and a larger lighthouse. It costs more but you will be happier in the end.

[Yes, Removable] Photography is all about light. The quality of light Wafer puts out is stellar. It has this velvetness, silky falloff and even illumination (no center hotspot) on the subject face that makes the overall complexion stands out. I have many softboxes, but none gives me the robust built and light quality I demanded. In use, this Wafer is light weight, easily put up and the tension of its thicker rods stretches its front diffuser panel taut and even. Did I mention it is also shallow, great for tight places. For me, the key that set this softbox apart is its light efficiency, where it reduces only to stop of light. Buy it and starts experiencing the Wafer light quality, you will never regret it.

[3.95 lb] Recently purchased for use live streaming events. Its easy to use, and well balanced with center weight adjustment capabilities. Quick release can be a little wonky at time, overall great buy. Would recommend as its easy to travel with and lightweight, a must have when you need to extend your equipment using a tri-pod.

[Silver] Good quality quick release plate, cheaper than the manfrotto kind, and fits the calumet tripods.

[Yes] My wife has a small, out of the home, jewelry business and I need to get some nice up close shots of the product. This product is easy to set up and easy to use. I am thinking about getting a larger one for some bigger items.

[Yes] Unless you are getting the $$$$ motorized jewelry lightbox with the rotating stand, this has got to be the next best thing (and it's $). Just put it near a lamp, set the white balance on your camera to tungsten, and Bob's your uncle.

[Silver] I just used my new wafer plume, and am jacked about having replaced the old one. This is a sturdy, high quality product, and I love the low profile for use in tight lighting locations. My older Wafer Plume was still doing the job, but since the earlier models have a fixed front panel, it had gotten too aged & warm colored over time. Its nice to get a new clean box.
