As such, while the camera uses AA batteries to power the camera, data on the exact model battery used to power the light meter is scarce to non-existent. From the little data I could locate, it appears the light meter was powered by a 1.35V RM-1 or LR50 (or similar) mercury battery. Unfortunately, these batteries have been discontinued and are no longer available for purchase. As mercury batteries are no longer in production for safety reasons, the closest option I can find in our inventory to work as a replacement would be the Exell Battery A1PX Alkaline Battery (1.5V), B&H # EXA1PX. However, do note the voltage of the Exell battery is 1.5V, and the higher voltage would cause images to be underexposed using the regular ISO setting. As such, you would have to use an ISO setting lower than the ISO of your film to compensate for the voltage difference.
