[16:9] Well packaged. Easy to assemble. System tensions screen perfectly for a no-sag presentation.

[110" (279 cm)] This was the forth 9X12 dalite screen that we have purchased. We also have several 6X8's. We use them for PR meetings in various churches and schools around the US. Dalite screens are excellent! The newer fast fold frames are bigger and built stronger and the easy release latches work extremely well and you no longer need to fight the frame to put it together and take it apart. I often get assistance from a local person at the meeting and they are always amazed at how it all folds together and fits into the case. THe cases are much too big, I think and I have taken them and cut them down so they don't use up so much storage space.

[16:9] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen.

The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation.

Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero!

The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture.

A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch.

[Contour] I use it in a classroom at a university. It's got a great surface, brilliant white, big and more than I expected. It looks like a big LCD screen on the wall, way cool.

[16:9] Very easy to assemble. For ambient lit rooms, this screen is very very good!

[Contour] I have used this Da-Lite screen for the past 3+ years. This is actually my second purchase. Compared to some brands and products, the price is reasonable. The design is solid, great for portable use and easy to setup. However, it weights close to 70 pounds. A great product nonetheless.

[Front] Screen is being used in a 40 x 40 foot room with a 7.2 theater system. The projection screen is over the stage and is long enough to extend down and up out of the way when not in use. If the light were not in the way, I could have moved the screen even higher.

[Front] Assembly for very straight forward. Looks great on the wall. Really like the velour wrap around the frame. It does a very good job of rejecting light back onto the screen. Because of the size, (110 inch) I decided to put up a folding screen to cover it when not in use.

[Front] The screen functions as described. we used the additional brackets to mount the screen to a concrete wall. The mechanical parts of the screen are smooth and easy to use!

[42 lb] Have this 8' 16x9 installed in the front of the church sanctuary replacing an 8' 4x3 with the standard wide bezel. The narrow 1/4 bezel looks great. Quality and attention to detail in this screen is impressive. It was simple to assemble and install.
