A: There is no information that using the Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control with the R6 has any effect to over heating.

A: No this Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control does not have a Bulb Mode option and only triggers the camera shutter at shutter speeds selected in the camera.

A: Yes, it is possible to use both the shutter button on the Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Digital camera and the shutter button on the Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control to trigger the shutter on the Canon EOS R6 if you go to the camera's menu and go to [Shooting Menu: Remote Control] and set to [Enable]. I would not try to press the shutter button on the remote and the camera simultaneously, but if you are near your camera, you may use the camera's shutter button, then when you are at a distance from the camera, you can use the wireless remote without changing the camera settings.

[7 x 3 x 1.5"] I have not only used it for slow shutter speeds but to capture pictures of birds & wildlife at feeders I set up in my yard. I can even stand inside and take pictures from inside watching thru my window so not to scar the birds/wildlife. I set my camera up only 6 feet away and then stood inside. I am a new dslr photographer and having fun learning different tactics. 5

[7 x 3 x 1.5"] I bought this to be able to take self images for my social media. For me is perfect for what I needed it for. I wish I could control the aperture, ISO and shutter speed with it as well so I don't have to constantly walk to the camera for small increments but other than that, nothing to complain about. 5

[0.15 lb] Although I have other options for remote shooting, I wanted a very simple method I could use, especially since my current Camera has an intervalometer. I can hang this from my neck and link it quickly. Great for long exposures in the waves and photos where I cannot always be close to my camera. 5

[0.15 lb] It’s works great for me on my Canon R6 and R7. It was that loop on the end so put a lanyard on it and hang it around my neck. 5
