A: Make sure your camera is in a Video Mode first. Then open the menu and go to page 6. The second option should be "Remote Control" and then you can choose to enable or disable the option.

[0.05 lb] I bought this to be able to take self images for my social media. For me is perfect for what I needed it for. I wish I could control the aperture, ISO and shutter speed with it as well so I don't have to constantly walk to the camera for small increments but other than that, nothing to complain about. 5

[0.05 lb] I have not only used it for slow shutter speeds but to capture pictures of birds & wildlife at feeders I set up in my yard. I can even stand inside and take pictures from inside watching thru my window so not to scar the birds/wildlife. I set my camera up only 6 feet away and then stood inside. I am a new dslr photographer and having fun learning different tactics. 5
