The EDID (Extended Device ID) data for a selected master input can mapped to one of the outputs to help ensure proper "handshake"

HDMI sources with HDCP (High Definition Content Protection) encryption will only pass to the HDMI output on the VP-770

When switching, the image fades to black giving the new source a chance to establish sync, the new image then fades in for a seamless transition

Both VGA ports, the HDMI port, and the DGKat HDMI balun port are active simultaneously, allowing you to connect up to four display devices without using a distribution amplifier or splitter

Presets for picture-in-picture (PIP), picture-and-picture, and split screen presentation modes, as well as customized window layouts. Both the main and PIP window can be magnified up to 1600%

Allows you key out a portion of the main image based on luminance value allowing you to insert backgrounds and overlays

  • ProcAmp allows you to individually adjust color, sharpness, contrast, brightness, and gamma for each input

  • Time-base corrector (TBC) helps stabilize jittery, unstable video sources

  • Noise reduction with temporal, block, mosquito, and comb filtering

  • 3D comb filter provides improved color separation for composite video inputs

You can control the VP-770 directly using the on-screen display (OSD) accessed via buttons on the front panel, from a computer using the RS-232 serial interface, or over a network using IP protocol

Manually adjustable audio delay allows you to bring audio and video into sync

Select from follow input, follow output, best fit, letterbox, and overscan

Supports 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down and features 24sf handling

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the power source in the range of 110-240 volts? Thank you very much for your attention.

A: The power source only supports 100-120v.

Q: 2. i m intrested to purchase se3200pls tell when i will get this product ?

A: Special Order:Expected availability: 2-4 weeks plus actual shipping time from B&H to you.

Q: 3. Is this 8-bit or 10-bit?

A: The Datavideo SE-3200 12-Input 1080p Video Switcher provides 10-bit.

Q: 4. with this switcher, can we have a logo in our production?

A: Datavideo says - Any Input (1-6) can be used as a Frame store (Stills Store): Up to 24 images stored on SD Card. So yes, you can display your logo on the screen with this switcher.

Q: 5. where do you record the video?

A: The Datavideo SE-1200MU has SDI outputs that you can use with recording devices. The Atomos Samurai Blade is a nice option to record directly to a Solid State Drive. You can also look in to an H.264 encoder for both recording and streaming, such as the Datavideo NVS-25.

Q: 6. Can I connect this switcher to datavideo NVD-20 IP, to record my video

A: No. You can not record video via Ethernet coming from SE-1200 ethernet port because it sends only multicam window over network.

Q: 7. Is the subwoofer wired or wireless? Thank you and God bless!

A: This would be a wire sub, both speakers actually connect to it.

Q: 8. Does this unit make noticeable fan noise? I found the Roland V-1HD and BlackMagic ATEM Television HD (latest) they all have loud noise and did not work for my quiet studio and now I am looking at this unit. Thank you.

A: According to Datavideo: The unit has a single 2 fan in the back, its rather quiet, but I do not have any comparative testing to back that up.In a recessed equipment rack you probably would not hear it however, it seems that the customer has a single room studio without a control room. What I can say is weve never picked up any fan noise when recording our product videos featuring the 1200.

Q: 9. Is there a control surface that will work with the RS422 port on this?

A: The SE-1200MU is designed to be fully controlled from any Windows Laptop/PC and Android tablet, iPad or Mac with the included SE-1200 software control panel. Datavideo does not make a control surface for it, the RS422 port is for integration with Crestron Control Panels.

Q: 10. How would I connect (setup) for multi-view (viewing all input sources) Is this possible?

A: The Datavideo SE-3200 has built in Multiview and one of the HDMI outputs connected to a display would be a perfect way to setup a Multiview display output. Good info - https://bit.ly/3DQ5vMi

[7.55 lb] I have two balanced preamps and use this switch for switching between them. I was very impressed with the quality of the switch, the fact that I could switch without turning off the amp or the preamps, and the Kramer tech who answered my questions.

I am very pleased with my purchase.

[5.5 lb / 2.5 kg] Easy to switch between 4 stereo inputs. I am using it in a high end audiophile system. It is a weird form factor - with all the heavy xlr cables connected to it, the unit has to be mounted so it doesn't move around.

[1 RU] There is less than a two second switching delay when a source is plugged into the priority jack.

[7.55 lb] I'm using the video switcher to capture lectures and classroom sessions when we have 2-4 cameras in use. The switcher is quick, small, and easy to operate. The only downside is that break-before-make (BBM) switching can cause a *blink* between channel transitions, but it is very short and we can accept this given the price of the product and audience for our videos.

[1 RU] Nothing in it's price class comes even close. This unit is rock solid, easy to use, and offers great flexibility. It can be used as a delay, crossover, eq, limiters, and many other audio needs. With 4 ins and 8 outs, the setup can be almost endless. You can use outputs 1 & 2 as Master LR, outputs 3 -6 for delay lines, and 7 & 8 as a biamped monitor send. I would definitely spec and install this unit on any of my installations.

[5.5 lb / 2.5 kg] We have an outdoor live location that is transmitted back to our newsroom via fiber circuit. This switcher allows me to keep an HD signal generator (Maxtron) running so the control room can check on the circuit before deploying a crew. When the camera is plugged in it switches to that source automatically and resumes the test signal as soon as the camera is powered off. The unit has been in a weatherproof outdoor enclosure running continuously for two years with no issues so far.

[7.55 lb] I use this to switch Pro mics to a Pro Pre Amp. No more unplugging and plugging in mics. Very nice to use a Studio Pre with my mics. without the hassle of changing cables. I would buy another one but the cost is not in line with the product. One is good to have though.
