[Pracktica] This little gadget works like a charm. It made it possible for me to attach my Tamron 24mm Adaptall 2 lens to my Nikon DSLR. The lens works in manual only. You have to slow down, focus with the lens wide open, then set your shooting aperture, and, finally, release the shutter. While some may not like having to work like this, for me it was a trip down memory lane -- the way cameras used to work before auto everything. It was fun. 5

[Pracktica] Amazing image quality. Practically no barrel or pincushion distortion. Perfect for my robot. Even with a 1 image sensor, there's only a small area in the corners that's not covered by the image circle, even though the lens is rated for 2/3 sensors. I just wish there was an option for frictionless focus and iris setting, so I wouldn't need to take the lens apart and modify it for my motorized focus+iris rig. 5

[Pracktica] I bought this lens to use with a In-line process camera for my laser processing work station. This fixed focal length long focal length lens worked perfectly and I was able to zoom the work area with a clear image. I recommend this product srongly for imaging where the working distance is a constraint. 5

[Pracktica] Is used to avoid stacking different adapters on an old Adaptall-2 marked Tamron lens. There is nothing to move the Ai linkage so no aperture information can be transmitted. Tolerances seem to be on point. There is no wiggle, it is easy to put on and take off and infinity focus seems to be correct. 5

[Pracktica] This adapter lets you use Tamron Adaptable and Adaptable II lenses (in manual focus, manual aperture mode) on Sony alpha series camera -- F and FE mount NEX, a6000-series APS-C cameras, and a1, a7-series and a9-series full frame cameras. It mates securely with both the camera and lens. I'm using to on a Tamron 500mm mirror lens There are no electrical contacts in the adapter, so the lens has to be used in manual mode. There's no weather seal, but then, there's no weather seal on the Tamron Adaptable lenses either, so not much is lost there. 5

[Pracktica] I ordered this adapter for a 1970's Tamron 300mm manual lense to use on my Nikon D7500. It solve some problems on a couple of fronts. I use this lense for bird and wildlife images as well as astrophotography. The perfect adapter for my lense to camera application. 5
