The Vello Warm Bounce Dome Diffuser for Canon 600EX-RTsoftens the light output of the flash, reducing harsh shadows that are often the result when using direct flash. The dome provides even coverage across the entire frame and is ideal for use with lenses from 15mm to 200mm in 35mm format as well as their equivalent in other formats. Since each Bounce Dome is custom made for the flash, it slips on and off without the need for touch fastener tabs.

This dome has an amber tint to match the color emitted by tungsten halogen and incandescent bulbs. With the dome on your flash, simply set your camera to tungsten balance. Additionally, the diffuser can be used outdoors to lend warmth to skin tones in open shade or to match the light balance of a sunset or sunrise portrait.

A: Yes, They do work well. And no, they don't fall off easily. I have three different brands of these things and these work just as well as any others. They are the perfect low profile diffusion for an on-camera flash.

A: The camera and flash are going to preflash to make a TTl measurement and then automatically determine the necessary output for a proper exposure. The Canon 600EX flash is a TTL flash so it won't really affect the exposure.

[0.095 lb] Didn't know what I was missing until I got this cheap plastic flash dome modifier but this thing is a real help for just needing to soften your flash when you don't feel like setting up a softbox or reflectors or umbrellas. And, as others have noted, you can leave it on your Canon 600 EX RT flash and it fits in the case without needing to take it off! 5
