[Steel] I used this with a Peerless ceiling plate and universal flat screen mount to install 32 inch flat screen TV in garage. I have a similar set up in my lanai but it has a fixed length extension column. The adjustable was very easy to use and looks great. I did have to take both screws out of it to adjust it to the desired length. The screws go back in new holes that are exposed when you expand the column. This was a bit difficult because the threads had powdercoat over spray in them so have to be careful to avoid cross threading. Otherwise the usual Peerless high quality. 5

[Powder coat] Got this extension pole to mount my BenQ HT9060. It doesnt have keystone adjustment, so the projector has to be mounted within a certain height tolerance. This extension works great! It drops in 1 increments with an angled catch to ensure it doesnt drop if the screw ever came out (which it wont). Overall great quality and very heavy duty (the HT9060 weighs in a just under 49lbs). 5

[25 lb (11.3 kg)] I was going to buy a piece of black iron pipe to ise and paint it, but for the time involved the price, it made sense to just buy this one. It even has a side hole for feeding cables through. 5

[Powder coat] The actual item is somewhat different than what is pictured. The benefit is that there is more room to run cables through the pipe. The disadvantage is that the hole in the ceiling tile needs to be bigger. It does exactly what it needs to do, I just had make a few adjustments to make it fit my installation. 5

[14.5 lb] This is a very high quality shelf. I had no concerns about it being capable of holding 100lbs. My installation is for a large center channel speaker (beta c360). Mounted this shelf below the mantle, above the fireplace. Looks great, very clean and small install footprint. Highly recommend, I might be buying another to put my receiver on. 5
