A: Upon looking at the Element 88, we notice there are no RCA outputs on the unit. You may be referring to the 1/4'' outputs on the back of the unit. If this is correct, and the cabling is as you suggested with 1/4'' outputs from the ALT out, then technically signal should pass. You may need to look at your DAW outputs and ensure you are sending signal to the ALT outputs and not just the mains. An alternative to that many adapters would be this cable, used from the 1/4'' outputs, and connected right the the Apple lightning to headphone adapter BH #SEIPSUMTS3.

A: Hi Maguel,I bought this to adapt to TRS to TRRS, works great.. Make sure you don't get scratchy connector noise in your feed... It usually comes from connectors not being tight.

A: Hi, yes the SC4 is compatible with stereo microphones, however both left and right channels will be combined to a mono signal as is the standard with TRRS inputs, which only have one single mic input channel.

A: Yes, but it has to be a powered microphone, like a wireless receiver or AA powered mic. Plug-in powered mics will not work with this cable. You may have select external mic in your video or audio app, but most will recognize it as an external mic if you have it connected when you start the app.

A: Do the mcs you've used require external power? Because neither the iPhone nor this adapter will provide power. I can confirm that this adapter WILL will work with any recent iPhone if you use a self-powered mic.
