Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it an Autofocus lens? Does it have image sabilizaiton with the Sony XDCAM PXWFS7?

A: This is a Cinema Lens, which means it will be completely manual for focus, iris and zoom control. It does not have Image Stabilization either. For features like Auto Focus and Image Stabilization you need to look at Photography Style E-Mount Lenses instead.https://bhpho.to/2Bu8573

Q: 2. What is the difference between this lens and the sigma 18-35 that is much cheaper?

A: This cinema lens is manual focus only, has gears, greater throw, accurate markings and more robust housing made with finer tolerances. This are specifications that come into play on higher level video productions particularly ones that are working day to day with a crew. For one man band personal video it could be overkill.

Q: 3. Is there a battery option?

A: Unfortunately, the FV200 can only be powered using an AC outlet.

Q: 4. will this be manual focus only?

A: Yes

Q: 5. How much does this lens weigh?

A: The Sigma 18-35mm T2 High-Speed Zoom Lens (Canon EF) weighs 3.2 lbs or 1.45 kg.

Q: 6. Does this also supply a modeling lamp in flash mode?

A: Yes. As per the manual, "Modeling Lamp/Special Effect Button Modeling lamp ON/OFF: In flash mode, press the modeling lamp/special effects button to turn on or off the modeling lamp. When modeling lamp is on, turn the modeling lamp/special effects button to adjust the light brightness of modeling lamp from 5% to 100%"

Q: 7. Will this lens work on the z cam e2 s6?

A: The Z Cam E2-S6 in the Canon EF-mount version will work with the Sigma 18-35mm Cine Lens (Canon EF Mount).

Q: 8. Does this lens have electronic contacts to communicate with the camera? Will it work with the focus assist feature of the Canon cinema cameras like the CN-E primes do? (Not autofocus, but the green box indicator)

A: These lenses have electronic contacts and will communicate. We are unable to test but it is our opinion that focusing aids will work.

Q: 9. Guide Number is 60' (feet) or 60m (meters)? Most of Yongnuo's flashes this size are around 60m.

A: The actual guide number for this flash is 60 meters.

Q: 10. Can this light be controlled by godox xpro trigger?

A: Yes. The following unit can be controlled via the Godox pro commanders.

[1920 x 1080] I use this with an Avinair splitter, which then goes to a 50 HDMI cable. I dont lose any signals, and the quality of the transmission is excellent. This is a good product.

[0.15 lb] I have a full camera rig setup for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k. The dual swivel on both ends of this HDMI cable makes it ideal for cable management, especially when the HDMI port for the field monitor is on the left side and the monitor it is mounted to the left of the camera/lens. You can wrap the cable flush against the surface of the monitor and don't have to worry as much about damaging the HDMI port on the camera or monitor if the cable gets accidentally jerked. I have several of these cables now. One runs from the camera to a 4-port powered HDMI splitter and then from the splitter to the viewfinder, focus monitor and wireless transmitters.

[1920 x 1080] It's nice sometimes to not have a big HDMI plug sticking out of the camera or monitor. These work great.

[1x HDMI Male] I have used all sorts of hdmi cables from monster to rockfish and so on. I was not able to find one that didn’t have the handshake issue with my devices until I found these. No flickering or issues when switching between sources. Great product. Full 4K and HDR compatibility. Will never purchase hdmi cable from anywhere else, no need to.

[1x HDMI Male] 2 HDMI cables were ordered. The first shipment had one that was damaged on the connection and unusable. Customer service quickly agreed to send a replacement immediately. It arrived a few days later (no need to return the bad one), and was fine. No extra cost involved.
