A: You can use threaded filters while using the Fujifilm LH-XF18 Lens Hood. The Fujifilm LH-XF18 Lens Hood bayonets to the outside of the lens, while filters would thread into the 62mm filter threads on the front of the Fujiffilm XF 18mm f/1.4 R LM WR Lens. However, do note that due to the rectangular shape of the lens hood, you would not be able to rotate rotating filters (such as polarizer filters or variable neutral density filters) while using the lens hood.

[0.065 lb] The 18mm f2 FUJI lens is an excellent all around lens. The sharpness of the images is up there with higher priced lenses.Bokeh is great if you know how to manipulate the image and settings well enough.. Construction feels well built, but not heavy or exaggerated, certainly feels durable.. I use this lens daily for just walking around and taking random shots.. 5

[0.065 lb] I was looking for a similar hood as the one that came with my XF 23mm. These are small and effective and I use them on the camera without a lens cover because the hood protects the front glass from contact 5

[0.065 lb] Absolutely phenomenal pancake lens. Purchased mine used from B&H and it hasn’t hardly left my camera. I really enjoy the shallow depth of field at f2. The images captured by this lens are very clear but feel somewhat soft or ethereal, favorite lens in my kit. 5

[0.065 lb] Build quality is excellent, my copy is Made in Japan. produces more of a vintage style look IMO. And for me that is a good thing. Works especially well in B&W. Lots of micro-contrast. Its designed more for character than clinical precision, which could be a turn off for some. 5

[0.065 lb] Yes, if fits the 35mm 1.4 and is a good alternative if you lost or broke (my case) the 35mm 1.4 original lens hood. There is no way you can find an original replacement for that lens, so if you want one the 18mm lens hood is the only original option. Only one warning: the lens hood front is smaller (a little bit), so the 35mm 1.4 lens hood cap won't work with the 18mm hood. 5
