I had a USB AC charger hanging around (the kind you can plug a USB cable into, like most phone chargers) and I use the cable with this. It works fine from my computer as well. This is a perfect solution at a bargain price.

You would think for a couple extra hundred dollars they would just include a power source and brand it themselves. However, the secondary market is the answer to your needs. This does exactly what it’s supposed to do but does “not” come with a four pin XLR cable you’ll need to purchase that separately.

[8.2' (2.5 m)] I recently purchased a Lav wireless mic system so i can use it as a wireless XLR cable to place microphones where a cable can not be ran practically as I do video for live productions. However the Lav system does not support phantom power, enter this unit. It solves that issue where now i can place a Mic remotely and supply it with phantom power. I use it with those small USB phone chargers, so it is battery powered and lasts a LONG LONG LONG time on a single charge so no issues on that side.
