    Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use this with a Nikon 200-500 mm telephoto lens, the lens tripod collar only has one hole?

A: Yes, you can use the 4 lens plate #2131 with the Nikon 200-500mm lens. The plate comes with 2 screw to be used with lenses that have more than 1 threaded hole.

Q: 2. Does the plate block the GH5 battery door?

A: It is our understanding that this plate does not block the battery door.

Q: 3. Is the tripod screw tightened with a coin slot, allen wrench, or a fold down finger handle?

A: Hi - it uses an allen wrench!

Q: 4. Is this the correct plate for a Sony FE 200-600 mm F5.6-6.3 lens with original foot (3.5 inches long with one 1/4-20 and one 3/8-16 tapped hole)?

A: Yes it is compatible with the Sony 200-600mm lens.

Q: 5. Can this be used on the canon RF 600 mm F/4?

A: Yes, the Acratech Quick Release Plate for Telephoto Lenses (4") can be used with the Canon RF 600mm f/4 L IS USM Lens.

Q: 6. I just purchased the Tamron SP 150-600 from you and now find that the lens foot is not compatible with my tripod ball head. I am interested in this or similar (6 ) as I will possibly be purchasing a gimbal head later which would require the longer plate. My question though is this plate shows two screws but my lens foot only has one. Does this mean that I must order a shorter plate to get one with one screw or is the second screw removable and not needed? Thanks for your help.Paul Sorrells

A: The screws do come out of the quick release plate. Six inches is a bit too long for that lens and this one would be a better choice for an Arca-Swiss style quick release plate for that lens,Wimberley P30 Quick Release PlateB&H # WIQRPP30 Mfr # P-30http://bhpho.to/VwdNk1

Q: 7. I have a Tamron 150-600 SP Lens, and am awaiting the arrival of my new iFootage TC7 from you. Till this plate fit the TC7 and my lens?

A: You know the lenght of the Tamron foot, this plate is for 4'' - If the TC7 is compatible with Arca Swiss system it will works.

Q: 8. Will this work with a Nikon 200-500mm lens? that lens tripod collar only has one hole

A: Yes, you can use the 4 lens plate #2131 with the Nikon 200-500mm lens. The plate comes with 2 screw to be used with lenses that have more than 1 threaded hole.

Q: 9. Will this work on a canon EF 100-400 with an existing collar and plate? The plate has one screw.

A: The Acratech Quick Release Plate for Telephoto Lenses (5") would be too long for use with the Canon 100-400mm lenses. As an alternative, if you own the original push/pull Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Lens, the Acratech Quick Release Plate for Telephoto Lenses (2.5"), B&H # ACQRLP2.5, would be the correct lens plate for your usage needs. If you own the new twist-zoom Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens, then the Acratech 3.5" Lens Plate for Canon, B&H # ACLPC3.5, would be the correct lens plate for your usage needs.

Q: 10. Does the end plate prevent rotation with a Nikon 200-500 mm telephoto lens?

A: Yes it does. This plate also comes with 2 screws. You can use the extra screw if your lens has 2 mounting holes. This will also prevent rotation.

[0.06 lb] I am using this on a Pentax 150-450 as a QR base. It fits perfect, it allows me to secure using both studs on to the bottom of the lens ring. Slides well into my ball head on my tripod and monopod.

[0.06 lb] I've always had trouble with my large telephoto lens coming loose on my tripod with the smaller 1 quick release plates. This 4 model is perfect. The lip on the end gives helps with the grip. Recently took it out and had no slippage problems at all.

[0.32 oz (9.0 g)] I bought this item to use with my Nikon 200-500 mm lens. I needed something to prevent rotation when mounted on my tripod options. It is doing what I needed and is worth getting.

[0.06 lb] Everything looks great. Specs say this is for an X-T1 but took a chance. But the camera stop on the back side that fits below the LCD screen is not located in the correct position for an X-T10. Probably could be filed down to fit.

[0.06 lb] The build is good, thay fit my benro gimble .
One problem thay dont have a stop pin on the bottom. If you move plate and dont hold lens it can slide out of gimble.has no stops.it is still
A good plate. Just remember to hold lens for adjustments.
