The Kramer DisplayPort to DVI-I Adapter Cable 1ftfeatures a DisplayPort male connector on one end and DVI-I female on the other. It carries a DisplayPort signal, such as from select laptops, to a DVI-I display. The cable extends approximately 1 ft.

A dual−mode DisplayPort device that implements both DVI and DisplayPort signals is required. These devices are usually identified with the DP++ logo.

A: Unfortunately, a dedicated compact mount has not been made for the Sony VMC-BNCM1 Timecode Adapter Cable with use on a cage. A possible consideration, if interested, is to use a zip tie holder with a 1/4"-20 opening to wrap around the timecode adapter.

[1x DVI-I Female] I bought this to connect my aging Samsung monitor, which only has DVI and VGA inputs, to my new computer which only has DisplayPort and HDMI outputs. Since the monitor doesn't have a sound system in it, DisplayPort is the natural choice, and I use the HDMI of for my pen tablet. Cable works flawlessly with no problems in picture quality and has plenty of length to be able to stow the computer out of the way. It feels durable enough to last many years. 5
