The Furman M-8S Power Sequencerfrom Furman M-8S Power Sequenceris an AC power sequencing solution for your rack mount system. Install an M-8S in your rack, and the eight outlets in the rear panel will power up in sequence and protect all your equipment up to a 15-amp load. There is also an additional unswitched single outlet on the front of the unit for convenience.

Are all 4 of these Digital? and the rest are unlabelled in any way are analogue? It's the two outlines on the strip that confuse me

A: On the Furman PST-8 Digital Power Station, four (4) outlets have ultrasonic filtering, and all eight (8) have linear filtering.

Q: 6. Are all 8 outlets surge protected? The documentation for the pst-8 says that all 8 outlets are filtered and surge protected while the documentation for the 8d says that there are 4 linear and 4 digital outlets without mentioning the surge protection.

A: There is surge protection for all 8 outlets: 4 have linear filtering, 4 have digital filtering.

Q: 7. is this available as 240v from B & H?

A: We do not offer a 240 VAC version of this product.

Q: 8. Hi, if the AC wall outlet voltage drops going into furman will the AC voltage coming out of the furman stay regulated at say 120VAC?

A: No - it will protect your connected equipment from dangerous voltage surges and drops by shutting down very quickly. It cannot regulate these voltage irregularities. It is a voltage suppressor.

Q: 9. Does 20A cover 15A also ?

A: Yes, the Furman PL-PRO DMC Power Conditioner with Voltmeter/Ammeter can be used on a 15A circuit.

[12,000 A] I needed to simplify the power on/off sequence for volunteers in our church youth room. I shopped around for a cheaper unit with similar functionality and came up empty-handed. I use several other Furman units and all of them work flawlessly so I anticipated the same with this unit. It was super easy to install. Within minutes I had it working just as I hoped it would. It is actually more feature-rich than I expected. I purchased two more for another sound system upgrade project. It seems pricey for what it is and does, but it seem worth it compared to the wear and tear on equipment. 5

[130 VAC, 60 Hz ] Whenever I install A/V gear, I include a PS-8R. It provides good power conditioning as well as power sequencing. They have always worked as expected. I recommend them. 5

[ 225 Joules] Large, spread out sound systems can be quite challenging to stop and start in the proper order- unless you have a good power sequencer. Some people don't see the value in buying one of these, but it CAN save big money by eliminated the power on/off pops. Do yourself (and your technicians) a favor by installing 1 or more power sequencers. You won't regret it. 5

[None ] It works great! Shuts on/off power in sequence so everything doesnt go at once. and has a couple plugs that always stay on so I can leave my computer plugged in and use it while the rest of the gear is off. solid!!! 5
