This 25 ft Camplex SMPTE Hybrid FMW/PBW LEMO Fiber Cable 25ftfrom Camplex SMPTE Hybrid FMW/PBW LEMO Fiber Cable 25ftis a chassis-mount interconnect cable combining optical, electrical, and control signal paths. It features a round flange FMW LEMO connector and square flange PBW LEMO connector. It uses a Belden CMR Riser Rated indoor cable suitable for permanent installations in building risers. All assemblies are tested for < -55dB return loss, exceeding SMPTE 304M/311M standards. Diagnostics documentation is provided with each cable.

This cable is standardized by SMPTE for HDTV broadcast camera use. It supports 19.4 Mbps to 3 Gbps bandwidths.

A: We do not see this breaking down and would go with the idea that the carrying case will be adequate for it's purpose.

Q: 4. This doesn't look like it folds or condenses down in anyway. Does it?

A: This does not condense or fold down. Please keep in mind, it has 70/30 Beamsplitter Glass within it.

Q: 5. Is there a mirror flip option for using in a teleprompter?

A: The Blackmagic Design SmartView 4K G3 15.6" DCI 4K Broadcast Monitor with SMPTE 2110 does not have a mirror flip option at this time.

Q: 6. Will the flex shooter mini or pro fit better with this Apex?

A: Flex shooter mini or pro will both work well on FLM CP30-M5 Hybrid Series II Tripod. If you have a heavy and long lens like the Nikon AF-S 800mm 5.6 lens I would recommend the Pro and if you have a lighter and smaller Sony 200-600 6.3 lens I would recommend the Mini.

Q: 7. The manual says one side of the mirror glass should have a yellow sticker. My unit has no yellow sticker but does have a small sticker that says "reverse side". No clue what that means. How else can I identify which side of the mirror glass should face toward the subject?

A: The Glide Gear Face-2-Face Interview Periscope & Teleprompter Hybrid's beam splitter glass(the one way mirror) should be one directional, allowing the camera to see through one side while the other is reflective. The reflective side should be faced out towards the subject.

Q: 8. How does this compare to the eye direct?

A: It's a decent option for an inexpensive system, but the Eyedirect system is an entirely different level of craftsmanship and design. Both have their own levels and if your project is simple and you're looking to stay within a conservative budget, then the Glide Gear will be a decent choice.

Q: 9. What ballhead (Arca compatible) do you recommend for this? I'm usually mounting Fuji X-T3and 70-300.

[< -55 dB] The Complex Lemo Camera Cable with the jackreel is great! We have a system inside but since the pandemic we needed this product to run our camera and function outside. We are still able to function with our switcher in a control room because of this cabling. Great product for indoor or outdoor use. It has been a life saver not worrying about needing more cable... The jackreel is great for storage without tngles and messy wires. 5

[FMW] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great. 5
