This 100' SMPTE Hybrid OpticalCON DUO to PUW LEMO Fiber Cable 100'from SMPTE Hybrid OpticalCON DUO to PUW LEMO Fiber Cable 100'is a SMPTE 311M compliant broadcast interconnect cable suitable for outdoor and indoor use. It features a Neutrik OpticalCON DUO NO2SX connector and PUW LEMO connector. The OpticalCON connector is COCA factory terminated and interferometrically tested to GR-326-CORE endface standards. It has common LC contacts and a mechanical shutter system that shields against endface contamination. The cable is tested for < -55dB typical return and comes with diagnostics documentation.

The opticalCON connectors are assembled using the Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED system, which adds lockable, waterproof metal caps and rubber guards, especially critical for outdoor applications. This improves the cable protection and water resistance in long-term use.

[9 µm] This optical HDMI cable is such a nice addition to my workflow, and I can see me using it in many situations. I often do presentations, and this allows me to send a video signal a long way to a display. I also tested it with a video camera to our small switcher. Now I can have the camera a very long distance from the switcher. And I can do so very easily and reliably. This was not easy to do with the limitations of regular HDMI cables. I did not notice any increase in latency when using this 130-foot cable as opposed to a regular HDMI cable, which is fantastic. The build quality of this optical HDMI cable is also excellent. The materials feel good and strong yet still very flexible. It feels like a very expensive and well-made cable, and the connectors feel like good quality too. The connections seemed secure and fit well. I think this cable will last a long time. Overall, I'm very impressed with this cable and know it will make long HDMI runs very easy, which is both helpful and appreciated. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5

[LC] This is my third attempt to get a cable to work for a 50 foot run to a 4K video project. The other two wired cables both indicated they would work with 4K - They didn't. The first one (wire) that I bought from Amazon with 4K printed right on it, would do nothing with a 4K signal. The next was a thicker directional wire cable and I thought for sure that would solve the problem. It didn't...but this one did. My feeling now is only a hybrid optical cable is going to work with 4K with a long run. 5

[LC] As with many things Tilta makes, a decent quality and a competitive price. These cables are far more from other brands, so I use this to power smallHD monitors which works well. I wish the cable wasn't as long on the connection point - they protrude quite a lot, but they have worked well so far. 5
