This 500' Camplex SMPTE Hybrid opticalCON DUO Fiber Cable 500'fromCamplex SMPTE Hybrid opticalCON DUO Fiber Cable 500'is a SMPTE 311M compliant broadcast interconnect cable suitable for outdoor and indoor use. It features a Neutrik OpticalCON DUO NO2SX connector on each end, COCA factory terminated and interferometrically tested to GR-326-CORE endface standards. The connectors have common LC contacts and a mechanical shutter system that shields against endface contamination. The cable is tested for < -55 dB typical return and comes with diagnostics documentation.

The connectors are assembled using the Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED system, which adds lockable, waterproof metal caps and rubber guards, especially critical for outdoor applications. This improves the cable protection and water resistance in long-term use.

A: The D2 has high amounts of consistency.

A: Being that the Profoto D2 has a 300 watt halogen modeling lamp is it not recommended for use with the Profoto OCF series modifiers due to a issue with heat.

Q: 4. What sync cable will work with my Nikon D700 on the D2?

A: you just need a PC port on one side of the cable and a mini phone on the other.

Q: 5. Will the shaft of the 72" Wescott umbrella fit the D2?

A: Yes it will fit.

Q: 6. I’m currently using a D1/500 with the Air Remote TTL-N. Will the D2 fire wireless in tandem with this set up?

A: You have to also connect the D2 Fixture in the same Group, or it's own channel.

A: Hypersync would be a feature available on the Pocket Wizard Mini and Flex system, which is only compatible with Canon or Nikon cameras. The same would apply for the Profoto Air TTL-C and TTL-N transmitters which also work only with Canon or Nikon and which uses high speed sync.

[OpticalCON DUO] The Complex Lemo Camera Cable with the jackreel is great! We have a system inside but since the pandemic we needed this product to run our camera and function outside. We are still able to function with our switcher in a control room because of this cabling. Great product for indoor or outdoor use. It has been a life saver not worrying about needing more cable... The jackreel is great for storage without tngles and messy wires. 5

[-55 to -45 dB] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great. 5

[Single Mode] Cable worked as expected. We use it for our field camera on football game days. We can move all over the field without a signal drop. 5
