[0.7 oz (20 g)] Most users will be driving their Chauvet DJ lights from DMX. However, this is a nice device when you have DMX go down or have something unexpected occur. If you have the RF function enabled in the light's setup the light still works on DMX but can get shut down or changed via the remote. Useful if some light stops talking for some reason or needs to be forced. And the remote will send a fairly direct IR beam so it's easy to make sure it only sends the signal to one fixture if others are close by. It's also useful when just unpacking and setting up Prior to rigging and connecting to dmx as a quick test of the lights core functions at the outset. For the cost and it's size it is easy to toss into a camera bag or side pouch.

[0.06 lb] I purchased this bag to hold 4 Blizzard BAM PAR LEDs. They fit perfectly, with room for cables and accessories. The bag holds everything securely and is well padded. I recommend it highly.

[0.06 lb] It won't compete with the much bigger versions - but it will haze up a good sized room quickly. I used it in a great room in a mansion - probably 50 feet by 30 feet with 25 foot ceilings - only took a few minutes to get the right haze for film.

[0.06 lb] This unit comes with two remotes. There is a wireless remote and a wired remote. There is also an activation button on the back of the machine. The wireless works pretty well. The distance is ok. I'm sure a new battery and better placement would have given me better range. Not saying what I had was bad. You press and hold down the button and fog comes out. You let go of the button and it stops. This is true with the button on the back, wireless or wired. This unit has a 10,000 cfm output. They claim that this unit is a fog on demandmachine . It seemed to always put out fog whenever I pushed the button. No waiting around for the machine to be ready to make fog. This series was the only one to advertise this feature. (minus the smallest unit) I can say for the other companies, but Chauvet was the only one I saw. There are LED indicators that illuminate the tank, so it makes the whole container glow. Nice touch! The tank holds 1/4 of a gallon. For a small party I probably used 10% of the container. There is a removable cord. It would be neat if these connectors would plug directly into the end of a standard 3 prong extension instead of a cord with a connector like the ones used on computer towers.
