The CHAUVET CLP-25N Narrow Swivel Coupler Clamp has a load capacity of 550 lb (250kg). It fits between cross braces with ease and wraps completely around a truss with 2” main chords for added security and stability. Constructed from aluminum, this clamp swivels on its center to allow for complex rigging. It fits trusses from various brands such as Trusst, Global, Thomas, Tomcat, XSF, Prolyte, Milos, etc.

A: both rotary moving tighteners (if that's what you mean by knobs ) are indeed metal. They are, as I read another response, built like a tankoutstanding product.

Q: 10. I need some help with my short term memory! I know I have seen a battery "dongle" for the SL2 battery (LP-E17) that has a "fake" battery to go in the battery compartment and on the other end of the dongle, maybe connected to a 6 inch cord, a receptacle for a real E17. This would allow changing a battery without actually handling the camera, having to readjust on the tripod, etc...I don't mean a dongle to attach to a separate power supply but just to another E17. I hope I have described this in enough detail. Thanks for your help?

[550 lb (250 kg)] This clamp works well. It is listed for 1-2. Anything less than 1 inch will probably not clamp. I would have liked a slight bend at the top of the C, but this is not a deal breaker. It works well. 5
