[Black] This light was more than I imagined it would be. It looks great, and the light is bright for a smaller location (house, small gym).

If you are planning on using it without DMX, keep in mind that you basically have two options: you can set the light on one non-moving setting, or you can set it to demo mode where it goes crazy with different colors, movement, and such. The demo mode is fun, but if you maybe want everything but the strobe light you don't have that option to turn off strobe. So if you are looking for some fun to spice up a DJ setup, go for it. However, it seems like if you have a DMX setup you can really take advantage of all the settings.

[Zipper] I write Timelines in Chauvet Showxpress in which I play my drums along to a song with a full blown lightshow in sync with the song. (yes my kids make fun of me. Call it my 2nd midlife crisis).



I have currently 4 Thin tri-pars and 2 ADJ Moving spots. Along with an old Moonbeam for special effects. I added in the Scorpion Dual Beam laser to one song so far. It totally rocks, as it streams above the drumset and audience (yes some brave folk come by to watch occasionally). A great addition. Its really bright, and really pops with smoke/fog. I had to learn some DMX tricks in the SW for smooth transitions. (use the square wave transitions, not the smoothing one and it will work properly). I think you will love it. Practice laser safety please.

[Zipper] I bought four of these to incorporate into a permanent install, and to travel to smaller events. The lights were very easy to install - I was up and running in minutes. Programming is intuitive - from the menu on the back of the light, an IRC remote, and a lighting console. The only caveat to that is the ability to dim or turn off the lights. I had to set the light to a static color (like red), then turn the intensity of the color to 0%. This in effect turns off the light. The lights are very portable, and just what I wanted to bring some life to a school dance, special church event, etc. MelRae in Texas

I was looking for bags that would hold 4 - 1 meter light bars but these will do.� Do wish maybe there was side pockets for stuff like the power cords and accessories.� But storing and travel for the light bars the bags seem to work well.� Haven't had long enough yet to see how well the zippers will last.� So far quite happy with the purchase.
