Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I get extra receivers?

A: Yes you can use additional Nady PEM-RX receivers but these are not available standalone at B&H.

Q: 2. This wireless mic system can be used with any computer and a mic input line right? Will there be any interference with the wireless radio in this system and wireless frequencies of a laptop?

A: Yes, The receiver output may be connected to a microphone input connector of any device, including computers (better still would be to connect this to an audio interface, USB out of the audio interface, out to computer) or, to a camera microphone input.

Q: 3. How to use saramonic uwmic9 for video recording from Android mobile

A: If your Android device has a USB-C connection, you could use this adapter along with the UWMIC9, BH #SAUTCC35.

Q: 4. Does this product allow separate mix for each receiver or do all users get the same output?

A: The Nady PEM-04 allows one unbalanced input for each individual channel, and two sum inputs that are sent to all channels.

Q: 5. The lapel mic on this unit stopped working. What other microphones would work with the transmitters of this unit?

A: You may consider the Azden EX-503 Lavalier Microphone, BH #AZEX503.

Q: 6. Can you remove the antennas?

A: No, the antennas in the rear of the DW-22 receiver are not removable, but they can be adjusted for tilt and angle.

Q: 7. Could this be used as an input and output of an audio interface to a macbook pro for streaming?

A: This would connect to the input of your interface and work to transmit the microphone audio while streaming. There would be no way to monitor wirelessy.

Q: 8. How does this system compare to the Sennheiser G4 system or the Sony UWP-D?

A: The Saramonic UwMic9 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System is most similar to the Sony UWP-D system. There is not currently a dual-channel version of the Sennheiser EW 100 G4 available. The UwMic9 transmitters feature a similar output spec of 10/20/30mW to the Sony UTX-B40's 5/30mW and Sennheiser's 30mW output. The UwMic9 features less potential frequency options, topping out at 96 frequencies, where Sony offers up to 2,772 and Sennheiser offers 1,680. All makes do feature the ability to scan for an open channel based on location. Saramonic's RX9 receiver features a single TRS output for both micropone channels, where Sony's URX-P03D offers an individual output for each. Overall, however, the Saramonic UwMic9 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System provides significant value at its price point.

Q: 9. Does the transmitter allow for line level inputs such as from a mixer or soundboard?

A: Yes.

Q: 10. Which DPA Adapter do I need to make this TX9 work with my DPA 4060?

A: The DPA 4060 microphone can be used with the DPA DAD6034 MicroDot to Locking 1/8" Mini Connector (B&H # DPDAD6034) or Deity Microphones DA35 Microdot to Locking 3.5mm Adapter (B&H # DEDA35). The Saramonic UwMic9 transmitter uses the same type of 3.5mm (1/8") locking connector as Sennheiser transmitters.

[5 dBuV] Wow, as a touring musician, I am hard on gear and always buying and selling gear to find out exactly the best product! When it comes to In Ear systems, CAD is the only way to go! The clarity is unreal, 2 antennas provide better range, less interference, and is better than many other systems I have used over past 15 years! Plus, CAD customer service is amazing! I use many of their products and rarely had an issue, if there was, CAD took care of it asap!

I live the 4 unit one rack space design, keeps everything nice and tidy and compact! When CAD first announced this product, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it, and now I am getting another system for my other rehearsal space!

[5 hours] I'd love to recant my previous review of this product. Bought it, used once and had issues the second time with some serious feedback. After speaking with Glenn on this matter, I realized it was my own fault that resulted in feedback. Looking through the box I did not see the antenna (oops lol), disconnecting the system and having Glenn walk me through step by step I realized this very rookie mistake. Once we got it hooked up, body packs set to the same channel, and antenna hooked up as designed the system began working fantastic! Very very simple system to use. Really feel silly for that ridiculous error on my behalf lol will continue to work with CAD and Glenn for the foreseeable future! Excited to get this system on the stage!
