A: Unfortunately, that does not seem to be typical with the Paterson reels and could be due to a faulty product or user error. I'd recommend practicing with a previously developed or unimportantly roll of 35mm with the lights on just to see if you can get it to work. A: The most it will handle is a 36 exposures of a 35 mm film! No medium format

For a cable that is .41 OD you'd get 750 feet, while a .67 OD cable will give you 250'.
