This 250 ft SMPTE Hybrid OpticalCON DUO to PUW LEMO Fiber Cable Reelfrom SMPTE Hybrid OpticalCON DUO to PUW LEMO Fiber Cable Reelis a SMPTE 311M compliant broadcast interconnect cable with a heavy duty tactical reel. It features a Neutrik OpticalCON DUO NO2SX connector and PUW LEMO connector. The OpticalCON connector is COCA factory terminated and interferometrically tested to GR-326-CORE endface standards. It has common LC contacts and a mechanical shutter system that shields against endface contamination. The cable is tested for < -55dB typical return and comes with diagnostics documentation. The reel includes a side reel flange.

The opticalCON connectors are assembled using the Neutrik opticalCON ADVANCED system, which adds lockable, waterproof metal caps and rubber guards, especially critical for outdoor applications. This improves the cable protection and water resistance in long-term use.

A: You have to purchase separately.

Q: 2. So the reel says 290 ml? Can someone break down how much developer to water I use?

A: This tank holds 20 US OZ. Look at your developer dilution. I use Sprint chemistry. For 2 rolls of 35 mm it is 4:16 and the same for one roll of 120 fiilm. The ratio is 4 oz of developer to 16oz if water.Hope this is helpful,Karey

A: No it does not.I use mine for Semi Stand development. So a minimal amount of inversions.You might want to ask someone who processes the way you would want to use it.Hope this helps.

Q: 4. How many Millimeters should be used when developing 8x10" sheet film?

A: The Paterson Super System 4 Multi-Reel 5 Developing Tank can hold up to five 35mm rolls or three 120/220 rolls. The tank cannot be used for 8x10 or any sheet film.

Q: 5. Can I use it for 4x5 format sheet films?

A: Yes, you can buy an insert or fold them up with hair ties (search taco style ) and it works.

Q: 6. How many ounces does this hold when full?

A: The tank requires 10oz (290ml) per 35mm roll of film. The tank can hold 5 rolls of 35mm film so it would require 50oz (1,450ml). The tank can also hold 3 rolls of 120/220 film that requires 17oz (500ml) per roll, so that is 51oz (1,500ml) for 3 rolls of 120/220 film.

Q: 7. will this tank also take a second 35mm reel?

A: This tank can only hold one reel. To use two reels, you need the Paterson Universal Tank with Two Reels (Super System 4), B&H # PAUT2R

Q: 8. I'm guessing the answer is Yes, but can I develop 1x135 AND 1x120 in ths Multi-Reel 3 tank? But not 2x135 and 1x120.

A: That is correct. Either a single 35mm and a single 120 at the same time OR two 35mm OR two 120. A tip if using one 35mm and one 120 is to take half of another reel and put that in the top of the tank to make sure the two teels with the film are pushed below the developer level. Sometimes in certain instances if you leave that gap the reels will float to the top after agitation and they may rise above the level of the developer leaving part of the film in the top reel to be undeveloped. Putting one side of another reel on the top prevents that from happening.

A: You will need 3 reels.

Q: 10. Can I use this tank to process 8x10" color prints using RA-4 chemicals?

[LC] I had to drill large holes in the very center of the plate to allow for easy in/out of the short end of the cable. After that these reels worked great. Totally worth the price and the headache relief of under/over cable wrapping until your arms fall off. I started with 1 and bought 5 more recently. 5

[LC] We have been using four TFS DuraTAC fiber reels for outdoor events over the past three years without any issues. Cable diameter is slightly less than competitive cables but they are more durable because they are reinforced with stainless steel armored tubing. Highly recommended! 5

[-55 to -45 dB] i purchased this to run in a drop ceiling in a large building. i didn't want anything to hurt the fibre, so i wanted it armored. (I EVEN ACCIDENTALLY RAN THIS CABLE OVER WITH A SCISSOR LIFT!!) this armored cable is a beast! THIS CABLE DID NOT WORK FOR ME AT FIRST! i was sweating bullets trying to figure out what was wrong! i called their customer service and figured out quickly that they are manufactured as CROSSOVER cables. i had to pop the plastic duplex connector off one end and swap the two fiber cables. then all worked beautifully! LOVE THE PRODUCT! 5

[-55 to -45 dB] I use a Dejero Go Box bonded cellular video transmitter for news live shots and having a cable solution that's lightweight and compact like the Dejero is very important. I work from a SUV and I need to keep things as small as possible. The reel is a simple design but very well made, it does a great job of protecting the cable while stored in the vehicle.
