It features a Neutrik OpticalCON DUO NO2SX connector on each end, COCA factory terminated and interferometrically tested to GR-326-CORE endface standards. The cable is tested for < -55dB typical return and comes with diagnostics documentation. The reel includes a side reel flange.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what's difference between this and Paterson 4 x 5 Sheet Film Developing Tank with Reel?

A: Thus reply may not be helpful, but I will try -- Paterson tanks have interchangable parts. Between the parts you will need to buy and those you may already have, for 4x5 you will need a tall tank, a long center tube, and a 4x5 holder. The holder looks vaguely like a dragon and holds up to 6 sheets. I have loaded mine with up to 4 sheets in a changing bag. The tank holds twice the developer of a short tank (which is for one 120 roll of film.) If you have two 120 spools, you can develop two 120 rolls. instead of the 4x5 sheets.Other parts: a funnel to make the tank light tight, a tank top to keep the fluids in place, and a twist part to allow agitation. These are the same for small or large tanks and come with the tank.l

Q: 2. how many exposures can fit on a reel?

A: The most it will handle is a 36 exposures of a 35 mm film! No medium format

Q: 3. So, does this come with the center column???

A: Yes, it does. You get the top, funnel, tube, and something you can put at the top of the funnel to agitate as well. The reels are not included. Sorry for the delayed response. I'm just catching up on my emails.

Q: 4. Does this reel come with the handle and crank? Description says they're optional, but I don't see them listed under the accessories.

A: As you see it, it comes with the tall, non-folding top handle and that direct crank handle. However, if you need to save space, you can order an optional, folding top handle and an optional, removable crank handle.

Q: 5. How many millilitres does it take to fill the Multi-Reel 8 Tank?

A: The standard rule of thumb is 10 oz (300 ml) for each 35 mm plastic reel, or 2400 ml or 80 oz. It's a good idea to add a little more chemistry than that. Even if you have 7 rolls of film, you must add the 8th reel and the chemistry to reflect 8 reels to make sure no light leaks in the gap.Or, you may use 5 rolls of 120 film to fill this tank. Each reel requires 500 ml (17 oz), for 5 rolls 2.5 liters (85 oz). Any other combination of 120 and 35: before loading, stack your reels and make sure the funnel locks in place. If too high, the funnel won't lock in place. Don't do it. You won't have a tight seal and you will leak light and fog your film, or worse.

Q: 6. Will the catlabs 8x10 reel work in this tank?

A: No, the CatLABS CL81: an 8X10 Sheet Film Processing Reel is made specific for the Jobo MultiTank 5. Not the Paterson Super System 4 Multi-Reel 8 Developing Tank. This is the link to the Jobo 2550 Multi Tank 5 (640mL), https://bhpho.to/3plCZu0 .

Q: 7. How many Millimeters should be used when developing 8x10" sheet film?

A: The Paterson Super System 4 Multi-Reel 5 Developing Tank can hold up to five 35mm rolls or three 120/220 rolls. The tank cannot be used for 8x10 or any sheet film.

Q: 8. How long is the snake?

A: No cable is provided with this item; it is just the reel. The reel's capacity is dependent on the outer diameter of the cable you use. Cable Capacity:0.41 OD: 750' (228.6 m)0.45 OD: 600' (182.9 m)0.49 OD: 500' (152.4 m)0.58 OD: 350' (106.7 m)0.67 OD: 250' (76.2 m)

Q: 9. will this tank also take a second 35mm reel?

A: This tank can only hold one reel. To use two reels, you need the Paterson Universal Tank with Two Reels (Super System 4), B&H # PAUT2R

Q: 10. Is the lid leaking when the tank is inverted? Thank you!

A: No it does not.I use mine for Semi Stand development. So a minimal amount of inversions. You might want to ask someone who processes the way you would want to use it.Hope this helps.

[22 x 18 x 13"] I wrapped a 250ft Outdoor POE CAT6 Network Cable on this reel and it really works well. Not the most durable reel I have ever used but for a network cable it's just what I needed.

[Single Mode] I have a reel with just one channel on it, but found out it's cheaper to buy this cable and just remove the bracket from the LC side. Comes right out without cutting anything.

[OpticalCON DUO] I had to drill large holes in the very center of the plate to allow for easy in/out of the short end of the cable. After that these reels worked great. Totally worth the price and the headache relief of under/over cable wrapping until your arms fall off.

I started with 1 and bought 5 more recently.

[LC] Cable worked as expected. We use it for our field camera on football game days. We can move all over the field without a signal drop.
