This 164 ft Camplex SMPTE Hybrid FMW/PUW LEMO Fiber Cable 164ftfrom Camplex SMPTE Hybrid FMW/PUW LEMO Fiber Cable 164ftis a cable-mount, camera-to-CCU connection cable combining optical, electrical, and control signal paths. It features a round flange FMW LEMO connector and round socket PUW LEMO connector. It uses a Furukawa harsh environment outside broadcast cable designed to US SMPTE standards. All assemblies are tested for < -55dB return loss, exceeding SMPTE 304M/311M standards. Diagnostics documentation is provided with each cable.

This cable is standardized by SMPTE for HDTV broadcast camera use. It supports 19.4 Mbps to 3 Gbps bandwidths.

A: Yes, it is not uncommon to hear a rattling noise when using a boompole with an internal cable.

A: This is meant for the interviewer to be on the right or dumb side. It would require extensive, warranty-voiding modification by the user to work the opposite way.

A: The case is very heavy duty/sturdy wood - a little on the heavy side, honestly. Sorry, don't have an image handy.

A: Flex shooter mini or pro will both work well on FLM CP30-M5 Hybrid Series II Tripod. If you have a heavy and long lens like the Nikon AF-S 800mm 5.6 lens I would recommend the Pro and if you have a lighter and smaller Sony 200-600 6.3 lens I would recommend the Mini.

Rather than mounting a large camera to this system, you could mount this system to the rigging you have for your Ursa Mini Pro just as long as that rigging has 15mm Rods. [PUW] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great. 5

[FMW] As with many things Tilta makes, a decent quality and a competitive price. These cables are far more from other brands, so I use this to power smallHD monitors which works well. I wish the cable wasn't as long on the connection point - they protrude quite a lot, but they have worked well so far. 5
