The SLIK Pro 700 BHX Tripod with SBH-808DQ Ball Headsupports up to 11.0 lb, measures 29.9" when folded, and includes a quick release plate. Each of its 3-section legs features an independent spread, a 3-position angle lock, and flip locks for fast deployment. The included push-and-pull, rapid center column is multi-sectional, which allows it to be converted to a shortened center column. This feature permits a minimum height of 25.4" or 16.1" when the center column is shortened. The SLIK Pro 700 BHX Tripod provides a maximum height of 60.0", 65.8" with its center column shortened as well as fully raised, and 75.0" with the complete column fully raised.

Cameras, sport optics, or camcorders that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the quick release plate, which is secured to the tripod's ball head using a quick release cam lock. By loosening the ball head's primary locking knob, the head's ball-and-socket joint can be quickly swiveled, angled, fully tilted, or returned to its upright position. Variable pressure can be applied to the ball-and-socket joint's movements by rotating the tension knob located opposite the primary locking knob. Toward the base of the ball head is a secondary locking knob, which controls the ability to rotate the head 360°.

For added versatility, the center column is reversible, facilitating low-angle photography where an attached camera is positioned among the tripod's legs instead of above them. Foam covers on each of the legs provide a secure and comfortable grip while moving the tripod, and rubber feet help to enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces.

[Ball Head] I use it for home photos and video. Make sure you have the correct bolt size, 1/4 or 3/8. Some people, not saying any names, can get confused, think it refers to the puck thickness, and order the a wrong model. Then you just feel silly. Fine product.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Worked as good as the original. Now includes a twist tab to tighten that is an improvement to the design.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] I am going to be come a regular customer thanks to the staff at B&H, they were fabulous answering my newbie questions and making sure I had the right piece for the second hand tripod I purchased at our local Animal shelter shop. The acutal item is the missing piece, I got to use it on Tuesday, and this tripod was great for what I need with this new head.

[3 Positions] I just ordered this QR plate for my SLIK 800 Pro AMT ball head/ tripod. It works perfectly since my new-to-me tripod came without one. I will be back for another plate since I'm running more than one optic/camera on this tripod. Warmest thanks to B&H for the fast service and easy ordering process.

[3] I can honestly say that I really like this tripod. It collapses small enough to be carried easily (though I wish the bag came with a shoulder strap) and for a long time. I've carried it a few hours at a time, never feeling it is in my way.The ball head itself is actually better than I expected from some reviews I have read. It locks down nicely with little movement when you tighten it down. It doesn't vibrate any that I can tell and moderate winds pretty much don't do much to this rig.Pros:-- Easy to use.-- Sturdy and solid.-- Sets up fast.-- Is freaking tall.Cons:Not many, but...-- Wish it had a shoulder strap for the case.-- Wish it had a level/compass.-- Spikes would have been nice, but it feels solid on sloppy terrain as much as it does on uneven and rocky terrain.

[Ball Head] I've decided to standardize on the Slik Round QR Plate because it's the easiest to line up, especially in the dark. I replaced my two pan handle Slik Pro 700DX heads with two of these Slik Ball Heads, plus put one on my Slik Pro DXS Tripod that I use mostly for Macro Photography. This fits into tripod bags much easier than the Pan Handle did.
