[Orange] I liked the hand strap idea and I hate the discomfort of neck straps, so I decided to try it. This non-leather product is comfortable, padded enough and secure if you put your hand well into the strap for carrying even a heavy DSLR/lens combo. However, you do need to pull your hand back out of the strap at least partially to adjust your camera settings or fire the shutter. This extra step was my only reservation, but after using it for awhile, I bought another one for my other camera body. I should have bought them sooner!

[Orange] I have been hating my neck strap for some time now. It irritated my neck and it got in the way when taking my camera in/out of my bag. I've been using this hand strap every day for a little over a week now and I'm liking it a lot. It's so much easier to quickly grab and pull my camera out of my bag now. The camera feels very secure on my hand and, surprisingly, my hand seems to feel less fatigued after using it all day (as compared to holding the camera when I used my neck strap). I have a medium sized hand (female) and I can still get at the controls on my Nikon without having to remove my hand from the strap. It doesn't irritate the back of my hand which had me concerned (although I have not used it for an extended time period in hot, summertime temps). Having a tripod mount incorporated into the bottom plate is great. It wasn't hard to install - it just took a minute or two to get it adjusted to the tightness that felt most comfortable and secure on my hand.

[1/4"-20 Female] I tried two others before finding this: the B-Grip Hand Strap and the Zing SLR Action Strap. To me this gives the best hand, wrist supportby far. I liked it so much that I bought another one. Now I carry two D300 bodies on a Spider Holster with these straps attached. One of the bodies has the battery grip as well. The bad: no instructions. I found it fairly simple to attach but had to put my hand in a couple of different ways before figuring out how to do it properly. I put up a series of pictures in my flickr account: caprae is the name to look for. It is nice in that it has a tab you pull to loosen it. From what I can tell this is the way the Nikon wrist strap works.

[0.2 lb] I have one on all my bodies. I usually don't use a camera strap, just a hand strap like this. There are quite a few on the market. I've found this one the most usable. When you mount it to the tripod connection on bottom of your camera you don't lose tripod ability, it has its own nut into which you can screw your tripod. Also, it has two places to connect a strap to the bottom, so in my case I manufactured a permanent loop on the unused one to which I can attach my BlackRapid strap when I use it.

[Orange] Bought this for an Olympus OM-D E-M1X for video. It make the shooting experience A LOT more comfortable, since you don't have to grip the camera so tightly.

[Yes] Attaching was not easy the first time. Now it fits like a glove and I am not worried about dropping the camera or letting someone else take a picture for me. I use this on my Pentax K 5-IIs. I Still use my neck strap if I need to hike and use my hands.

[0.2 lb] Excellent product for handholding. I do not like the tripod fast adapter as much, since it is a plastic connection and thus not as sturdy. Overally, highly recommended though. Watch out for not accidentally loosing one of the plastic screws. I lost one while traveling. It is still totally safe to use though. Very comfortable.

[0.2 lb] and this is the only one I found that works for me. A bit of a head-scratcher to figure out how it installs but once you get that figured out (hint: the pull-tab to release the strap goes BETWEEN the D-rings; see photo) and get the preliminary adjustment down it's as close to the perfect handstrap I've found; only one I use and have one on nearly every SLR and DSLR I own...

[Yes] I have been using the b-grip system for the last 6 years or so, and it's amazing that it's help up for so long! I have acquire additional gear and needed another handstrap for my camera. Definitely worth the price and delivery wait.
