Q: 1. I don't see the docking plate, is it available?

A: I am afraid this unit does not come with a docking plate and at this time CAME-TV does not have a specific docking plate available for a separate purchase. We do have some plates from both Glidecam and Steadicam that you could try out. These 2 docking plates are returnable items if they prove not to be a good fit with the CAME-TV system.

Q: 2. It's compatible for DSLR and HD Camera?Do I need special accessories for mounting DSLR and HD Camera?

A: The arms specification is 5.5 to 33.1 lb (2.5 to 15 kg). Most DSLR's barely make that minimum. My experience with Steadicams is that they work best when the weight is in the middle of the arms specifications. You may wish to get an arm that is set up for that light a weight. Otherwise, you can mount any camera you wish physically.

Q: 3. I've looked all over and can't find it. Does anybody know what the focal length of the built in lens on this camera is?

A: We couldn't find that either. However, since it is very much like the most popular action camera, we will be of the opinion that the focal length is the same or there about of 2.9mm.

Q: 4. Do I have to buy some extra accessory to use?

A: If you want to mount a v-mount or other type of battery, you'll need to buy a plate adapter. The one that comes with this is just a cheese plate attached to rail adapters. Otherwise, I'd suggest a 1.5-2 foot HDMI cable if you're planning on mounting a monitor below. And I highly suggest some velcro cable ties to keep all of your cables from shifting around and throwing off your balance.

Q: 5. Which Lenses fit here?

A: the lens limitation is from the filter thread size. any lens up to 95mm filter thread will fit into the front port. also the Fits lenses with max length of 7.1" / 180 mm, max diameter of 4.2" / 107 mm, and max filter thread diameter of 95 mm

A: Yes, the CAME-TV Pro Camera Carbon Stabilizer with Support Vest and Support Arm (B&H# CALBVL4ALBS1) could certainly handle a RED Scarlet W BRAIN outfitted with a lens and other typical accessories.

A: The capability of the SDI cable is not known. However, for such a short distance, I think it has a good chance to work. You may have to run a new cabling however.

A: The SeaLife ReefMaster RM-4K Ultra Compact Digital Underwater Camera does not have threads for filters. The camera will have built-in digital color correction.
