This Sandies 343 Three-Sided ON AIR Light with LEDsuses LEDs as the light source and displays "ON AIR" on three sides in bright red when turned on. When off, it's totally blacked out, leaving no confusion about whether it's off. It has a solid steel back plate with aluminum endcaps and a thick, red plexiglass faceplate. Use it mounted on standard, single gang boxes or with wall anchors.

A: We had to do some rewiring. It came with an LED strip and the voltage was too high for the strip. Had to get a regular light bulb. It wasn't too difficult and looks great, but wasn't plug and play.

A: A power supply is not included with this product. According to the manufacturer, the reason is that usually these lights are installed over studio doors and are controlled by a relay that is activated when a mic is turned on in a Recording or Broadcast studio.

A: The Sandies 393 Three-Sided ON AIR Light with LEDs can be used with a power cord but it does not come with one. You would have to wire it to one for that compatibility.
