A: The Kodak VISION3 500T Color Negative Film #7219 (Super 8, 50' Roll) and others alike, will have the expiration date on the packaging. Depending on the type and manufacturer's suggestion, film, if kept in appropriate storage, can last for 6-12 months.

Q: 7. Assuming I use a bulk loader, and a lab that has the ECN2 process, how many frames would I get from this?

A: The rule of thumb is 1 foot has 16 frames so 200 feet has 3,200 frames.

[ESTAR] I'm tired of buying this in 100ft rolls with light leaks.
This 400ft roll arrived in its original packaging and handled well.

[D-96, D-97]  It delivers excellent image quality if you shoot it during the day and surprisingly good at night. My experience with Cinestill 800T and Kodak Vision 3 5219 500T already establish a foundation that those are my go-to films if I am going to do some street photography at night. However, what Kodak 250D can actually offer me are the super-rich contrast and deep black.

[D-96, D-97] An absolutely stunning color film at a very reasonable cost per roll. Tons of latitude and very accurate colors when processed ECN-2.

Despite what a lot of folks on the internet suggest, I was unable to get satisfactory results when cross processing in C-41 chemistry. The images were just far too blue shifted, even when shooting with the correct 85b filter under daylight.

Instead I've taken to mixing ECN-2 developer following the Kodak datasheet, which I use in conjunction with my existing Kodak flexicolor C-41 bleach and fixer. This gets me color accurate images and so far doesn't appear to require the specified sulfuric acid stop bath that Kodak specifies.

[Type Y Core] I used to order my film from eBay and often ended up with it coming too late in time for a shoot. I finally decided to order from BH & it's here on time. No hassle or wondering why the tracking isn't updating! Thank you. Will be purchasing my film from here from now on!!

Also shameless plugging, but check out my super 8 films
