My only advice for you is to buy an additional battery as the monitor does not come with one. You can buy the same battery that the 5D uses and that's a huge plus. Hope this helps. The monitor is great, I've had it for about 2 months and no problems. Just a 5 sec lag when you start up the monitor and camera. So when you have them connected, just let it do it's thing and the image will show up after at least 5 sec.
