Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with an L-Bracket on the Sony a7iii?

A: This HDMI Protector is designed specifically for select SmallRig Cages. First you will need to have a SmallRig cage for your A7III, such as the SmallRig 2087 Cage, B&H # SM2087. Once you have that cage you will need the SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp for Sony a7II/a7RII/a7SII, Cage B&H # SM1679. Then from there you should be able to mount the A7III in a cage to an L-Bracket. https://bhpho.to/2Mt2uou https://bhpho.to/2FUqJuv

Q: 2. Will this work with the Fuji Film XT3 micro HDMI port?

A: As long as you have a cage for this attach to, it should work just fine for the Fuji Film XT3 micro HDMI port.

Q: 3. Will this monitor connect to a 5DIII? If so, what type of cable will it require? Same question for a 7DII. Thank you.

A: Hey Mike, to answer your question. Yes, this will connect to an 5D Mark III. The cable you need is already included. My only advice for you is to buy an additional battery as the monitor does not come with one. You can buy the same battery that the 5D uses and that's a huge plus. Hope this helps. The monitor is great, I've had it for about 2 months and no problems. Just a 5 sec lag when you start up the monitor and camera. So when you have them connected, just let it do it's thing and the image will show up after at least 5 sec.

Q: 4. Does this work with the Sony A7IV?

A: No. The following unit is formfitting camera cage for Sony a7S III

Q: 5. Will this work to secure the USB cable on the SmallRig 2129 Cage for the D850? Not just the HDMI.

A: Sorry, no. It is not tall enough.

Q: 6. Why and how could you leave out the nit brightness. Great job B & H. The very most important face about the monitor would be the brightness. How is possible you don't that info on your website. What is the screen brightness?

A: This Andycine product is just the cage for the A6 Plus display, Nits would not be provided or relevant for just the cage. The Andycine A6 Plus display offers 500 nits of brightness. Link to the A6 Plus display - https://bhpho.to/3zJWnWI

Q: 7. I know this is for smallrig cage but does this work with the Kondor Blue cage ?

A: Yes, this could also work with the Kondor Blue cage. You can adjust the distance of the clamp.

Q: 8. Will this device work with Adobe CC?

A: Yes, this card will work with Adobe CC.

Q: 9. Will this work for the Panasonic S1 cage from SmallRig?

A: The manufacture lists this cable clamp for use with the SmallRig Cage 2646 for PANASONIC Lumix GH5/GH5S and SMALLRIG Cage for Panasonic Lumix DMC-G85/G80 1950. Technically one can use the 1/4"-20 screw to attach to the SmallRig Camera Cage for Panasonic Lumix DC-S1 and S1R B&H # SMCCP2345, but there isn't a guarantee it will be placed at the right location for the HDMI port and door flap in the way. Manufacture suggests using this instead, where the clamp mounts to the bottom of the cage. [0.2 lb] Flat cables and cords are required at trade shows if using under carpet and padding. This cable was perfect.

[1x HDMI Male] Used this cable in an installation where we ran the cables down the wall (instead of in it) and on top of the floor (instead of under it) and covered with Safcord cord cover. Works pretty well.

[0.2 lb] i found these on a search for narrower diameter cables and found that these meet industry standards.. and are priced great. other cables i used to use have no standard they meet and why they are built like they are. THESE ARE MY ONLY CABLE I WILL USE... unless forced to use a swiveling end they dont make. you will not be disappointed...

[1x HDMI Male] Purchased this cable because of features and price, to replace an older, low quality cable connecting a Sony PS3 to a 60 Samsung LED television. The picture using the old cable was low quality with frequent jumps and skips when watching both DVD's and online content. This new cable eliminated this problem. I can think of no cons about this cable.

[0.2 lb] I really like this cable. I'm a video Editor and Cinematographer in NYC and the other day, I was shooting with a DSLR with a full frame sensor and another camera which I operated. When I mounted a monitor on the DSLR he person I had shooting with the DSLR commented that he had done this before and the monitor kept going out. I had the same problem before and it got worse after the monitor fell and the cable I was using became very intermittent, worse then before. This previous cable had never been great to begin with and I wasn't sure if it was the DSLR connection or electronics that were not great. After using this cable, the feed to the monitor has been !00% reliable which is a great help when needing a larger monitor than the back of the camera which is clear but on the small side. What really impressed me is that when I bought this cable, it was only slightly more then the cheapest one while some of these cables even in this short length are 4 times as expensive, directed towards people who have become Leary of cheaper cables no doubt. The strength of the cable seems to be in the very solid boots that house the end tips and the body is a bit thicker. This makes it slightly less flexible than the cheapest ones but that is a negligible issue and the resulting reliability is high.
