The black RDL DB-RC4ST 4-Channel Remote Control for ST-SX4 Audio Switcherfrom RDL DB-RC4ST 4-Channel Remote Control for ST-SX4 Audio Switcheris a wall-box mounted remote module designed to directly control an RDL ST-SX4 Audio Switcher Module. The ST-SX4 provides solid-state switching of one of four unbalanced audio inputs to a single unbalanced audio output. The DB-RC4ST connects directly to the POWER and CTRL terminals of the ST-SX4 using either a 3-conductor cable or a single shielded pair.

The front panel of the DB-RC4ST features four pushbuttons with four associated LEDs. Upon initial application of power, source 1 is selected. Touching any of the other three buttons de-selects source 1 and immediately selects the source corresponding to the button pushed. An LED, adjacent to each button shows which source is selected. For stereo installations, the SLAVE output from the ST-SX4 is used to drive the CTRL input of an additional ST-SX4.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. if i use a toslink optical input, can i take it out using a coaxial output?

A: Yes it can.

Q: 2. Will this output to an Atomos Ninja recoder?

A: Yes, you can use this with an Atomos. Just make sure the Atomos is set to receive the type of video output of the switcher.

Q: 3. Am I reading correctly that the SE-650 is able to embed auxiliary audio input on the HDMI output, but not on the SDI output?

A: We're not quite clear as to where you were reading that, but according to the manufacturer, audio may be embedded on all digital outputs.

Q: 4. Does the mixer have an option to turn on/off HDCP?

A: We're afraid not. This switcher does not offer HDCP controls, you will not be able to connect HDCP compatible products to it. Instead you could look at the Roland V-1HD Portable 4 x HDMI Input Switcher, which allows for HDCP compliance to be enabled. https://bhpho.to/2gRuG3C

Q: 5. is this radio water proof?

A: No, the Midland MicroMobile MXT115 15-Channel Two-Way GMRS Radio is not waterproof.

Q: 6. Do all of the video inputs need to be of the same resolution/frame rate with this switcher (like Blackmagic ATEM products)?

A: Yes. The resolution of the switcher can be easily changed in the menu setting, but all video formats need to be the same. Datavideo does offer the DAC-70 as a cross converter which would be able to change your video source to the proper resolution.

A: Yes, this is one of the primary functions of this unit.

Q: 10. How do you change to high power mode? The option should be between pt and sq and it's not there

[0.5 lb] Just needed to have one ceiling mounted microphone output go to two destinations. Nothing fancy. That describes this item - nothing fancy. It gets the job done in a small space, don't need special training to install- it's easy!

[0.5 lb] This meter is the very best most accurate VU meter I have ever used. It is pre calibrated and requires no adjustment!!! Simply put, I have every VU Meter made and none work as well as this one. It is expensive but worth every penny. It is very well build and compact. My only complaint is really a wish, I would like to have 1/4 TRS connections, however the phoenix connections work fine as well.

[0.5 lb] I purchased this to use as a mute switch for interfacing a Clearcom matrix intercom panel into our audio system (allows the stage manager to talk into the band’s in ear monitors). This box was exactly what I needed, when given a contact closure the microphone passes out of the “selected output” port and right into our audio console. Do be aware that it needs 24 volts of DC power, so make sure you’ve got an appropriate power adapter.

[0.5 lb] Using this to control wall speaker volume remotely to a stereo receiver in the next room. Works great working at line levels without having to have a huge high-powered speaker L-pad in the wall that eventually gets scratchy sounding and dead spots. Made by RDL which I've used in many custom installations in the past. Very reliable products, practically bulletproof! Had to get 2 for stereo.

[0.5 lb] I used this in a sound system that did not have an overall VU meeter. I have used it before in larger systems. Very visible. Adjustable to match VU meeter to dB level in the building.
