The black RDL DB-RLC10KM Remote Level Control Muting Rotary Blackfrom RDL DB-RLC10KM Remote Level Control Muting Rotary Blackis a remote level control panel featuring a mute button, designed for VCA modules. The MUTE button alternately mutes or un-mutes the audio in the associated RDL VCA product. A LED mute indicator glows red when the output is muted (0 volts dc), and turns green when the output is active (dc output voltage set by control). The front panel has 10 graphic increments which provide a visual LED indication of the level setting. The DB-RLC10KM contains a long life 10 kΩ potentiometer for setting the control voltage. It can be installed in a standard one-gang electrical box.

A: Unfortunately, the Canon EOS Digital Rebel T3 DSLR camera does not have an infrared receiver built into the camera, and it is not compatible for use with the Canon RC-6 Wireless Remote Control. The only remotes that are compatible with the Canon EOS T3 would be ones that plug into the 2.5mm sub-miniphone remote terminal on the left-hand side of the camera, such as the Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch, B&H # CARS60E3. If you are looking for a wireless remote that would be compatible for use with your camera, I would instead recommend the Vello FreeWave Wireless Remote Shutter Release (Canon Sub-Mini Connection), B&H # VERWC1, which uses the 2.5mm sub-miniphone remote terminal.

Q: 6. Will this remote, make sure that I am in focus before shot is fired? I do a lot of self-portraits and want to make sure that this gadget will only fire when I am in focus before it goes off.

A: If your camera is set to One-Shot AF, when you press the shutter button on the Canon RC-6 Remote Control, the camera will first focus on the item on the focusing point chosen inside the camera's viewfinder, then it will release the shutter. It does not have a half-press function similar to the shutter button on the camera, so the camera will first focus, then capture the image as soon as the button is pressed (unless the remote is set to 2-Sec. Delay). If the camera is set to AF-C or AF-A focus modes, it is possible the camera will release the shutter without focusing, which is why One-Shot AF is recommended when using the Canon RC-6 for self-portrait usage needs.

A: Yes, the remote must be pointing at the camera's sensor (on the FRONT of the camera, just right of the lens. As long as you are in front, and not too far off to the right side (where the lens may interfere), it triggers well.

[0.5 lb] I bought this from B&H in June 2014. It's now Dec 2019, and this amp is still performing flawlessly. I use it to combine 3 different audio sources into a single output that I distribute to various powered speakers throughout my house. I like that I can set the amplification for each source to make each source equal volume on the output. That way I don't have to constantly jockey the volumes when I play a new source. I also love that I don't have to switch anything around. I can play all three (or four) source at the same time if I want, or just stop one and start the other without having to touch any input switches or anything. I have my computer, my bluetooth adapter, and my record player pre-amp all on this thing, and I can easily just start playing the new source without touching anything. I love it. I have it mounted vertically behind the little table that holds the livingroom computer so if I do ever need to adjust anything, it's quick and easy. I do sometimes use the knob to adjust the volume of my record player input. 5

[0.5 lb] Overall, excellent. I only wish they offered a model with five channels, mini stereo jacks on all inputs, and have one channel with built in audio isolation transformer. Obviously, that would cost more, but then it would go from a great mixer to a perfect one. 5
