The black RDL DB-SH1M Stereo Headphone Amplifier Blackmade by RDL DB-SH1M Stereo Headphone Amplifier Blackis a dual channel headphone amplifier with balanced/unbalanced left and right inputs. Each input accepts operating levels between -20 dBV and +20 dBu. Prior to mounting the module, there are two recessed switches on the rear enclosure that are set up. One switch is for setting the input sensitivity and the other is the mode switch.

The mode switch selects between stereo and mono operation. In the mono position, the left input is used to drive both output channels. When the module is used in a monaural system, only the left channel input must be wired. The front panel level control is a long life potentiometer controlling matched VCAs. Audio does not pass through this control.

The output amplifiers deliver more than 50 mW into either high or low impedance headphones. Module operation is from a 24 VDC ground referenced power supply. This amplifier is designed to fit Decora style products and American electrical boxes.

A: No 240 volt option. 110 volt only formthe model sold in the US.

A: I never tried that because I have a Harmon Kardon BTA-10 Bluetooth receiver that I also bought at BH Photo connected to one of the Aux inputs. It works great and has an amazing receive distance. I got no strings on me!

A: The fan is fairly quiet...it speeds up to cool down as needed depending on output of power being used.

A: It doesn't come with batteries. You buy your own. It takes AA, so you could buy rechargeable if you wanted to. I have run mine only on electricity so far. I like the battery option, though.

A: 2.1 inches.

Q: 8. how many speaker loads in 8 ohms 15 inches diameter

A: The amp is rated at 4 ohms for 2 speakers. So at 8 ohms you can hook up 1 speaker.

Q: 9. can these two channels be bridged?

A: to the best of my knowledge, no. Basic 2 channel amp, but it does what it is supposed to do well with low distortion and dependable output levels. I used it for wired speakers on my patio, Bose, that are not that efficient, but it drives them well and cleanly. Hope this helps.

[Single Channel] I own a great semi pro studio, and installed this amp last week. It sounds great. Drives 6 sets of headphones without any problems. The aux ins on each channel take care of any more me mixes. Do yourself a favor...get one. 5

[18.5 dB ] Best solution for boardroom projectors. Nice and powerful given the footprint. Good full range sound. Has an imbedded condenser that causes a little hiss, back off the gains and increase volume with the source equipment. 5

[< -70 dB ] I bought this item for a use slightly different than the manufacturer's intent - I gave to my boom operator as monitor. I fed him boom on one channel and the mix on the other so her could use the fade feature to select what he was hearing. The sound quality is really good, the construction is durable and the size is convenient. We powered the unit with a 9v battery and it lasted nearly two 12-hour days. That's impressive. 5

[18.5 dB ] I bought this system as a gift for someone but haven't actually used it yet, although it seems really well built and designed, like most Presonus products. What I'm most impressed with however is B&H getting it to me the day before Christmas when I only ordered it the day before. Hard to believe they actually got it done... I'll continue to buy from both B&H and Presonus. 5

[0.5 lb] I was using the Behringer PowerPlay Pro 4 channel headphone amp but it had a hum in it. Even lifting the ground did't help. I had used Art equipment before and was very pleased with their quality and price so I bought the rackmount HeadAmp6. It is extremely quiet. This is a great amp. 5

[< -70 dB ] I went from wireless to the HP2. It's going to be an adjustment being tethered, but this unit has tons of clean power. Getting to the battery compartment requires you to take off the belt clip. If your battery goes out during a gig, a quick replacement would probably be difficult. But great unit overall. 5

[DC Input] I needed a way to keep everyone more involved during recording sessions (I was limited to just myself and the vocalist who could tune into tracks). I also wanted to keep going with XLR connectors. HeadAmp6 was the best value to accomplish this! It has plenty of power, even for times when using low-grade headphones.
