The RDL DB-TPS3A Triple Pair RJ45 Sender Module Blackfrom RDL DB-TPS3A Triple Pair RJ45 Sender Module Blackis a three-pair audio sending module compatible with RDL Format-A twisted pair products. The DB-TPS3A features a black front-panel laminate. This module features an XLR microphone input and two RCA phono jack inputs, one for the left channel source and one for the right channel source. The unbalanced inputs are designed to receive standard -10 dBV consumer level signals. The microphone input provides 24 VDC IEC phantom voltage and accepts both dynamic and condenser microphone signals. The input signals are amplified using studio-quality pre-amplifiers optimized for normal operating levels. A rear-panel GAIN switch is provided to set the amplification of the microphone pre-amplifier. This switch is normally set by the installer for NORM (normal) gain. If consistently low microphone levels are expected, this switch may be set to the HIGH gain position. The pre-amplified microphone source is routed to pair A. The buffered left and right line-level inputs are routed to output cable pairs B and C.

The DB-TPS3A can be powered directly from a 24 VDC power supply using the rear-panel detachable terminal block. Local power connected to the module is also fed to all connected remote modules. The DB-TPS3A may be remotely powered through the twisted pair cable from any other module, signal distributor or RDL power inserter connected to the same twisted pair cable. Module power is indicated by a front-panel LED. This unit is designed to be mounted in wall boxes, cabinets or other enclosures that allow users to connect audio sources. The DB-TPS3A model can mount in RDL WB-1U and WB-2U wall boxes, or in standard U.S. electrical boxes.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this come with a power adapter?

A: No

Q: 2. Does this stand hold ring lights?

A: This stand has a standard 5/8 post at the top like the vast majority of light stands I've used, so if your ring light has normal stand mounting hardware it should work fine. If your light doesn't have the most common mounting hardware, adapters and clamps are available.

Q: 3. What material is the black plating on the steel surfaces?

A: The Matthews Baby Junior Triple Riser Stand (Black, 12.25') BH #MABH386020 is painted.

Q: 4. What size thread is the knob to secure this to a 5/8 stud? If you were to purchase a replacement knob, what size would you buy?

A: Unfortunately, Impact does not publish the thread size of the locking knob of this header. The knob can be obtained through Impact directly as a replacement part by calling 1-212-594-2120.

Q: 5. What else will I need to go with this for my softbox?

A: You will need a monolight and an approproiate speed ring. You should also get some sandbags to prevent the stand from tipping over.

Q: 6. I have a space of 128 cm in the trunk of my car that is small. I would like to know if this stand with wheels reaches in that space. According to the specifications says that the length closed is 120 cm but I'm not sure if that includes the wheels or just the column.

A: In transportation mode , I.E. When the stand is collapsed with the wheels folded the total length required to store it would be 133.5 cm. The casters do not come into play because they are attached about 10 cm up the tri-legs. When folded the unit actually stands on the end of the tips of the tri-legs and not on the casters at all. When the unit is in use with the legs extended and resting on the casters, the height from the floor to the top of the collapses stand is 129.5 cm , but I don t think you would be wanting to put it in your trunk this way. In any case all of the measurements are greater than the 128 cm. If the

Q: 7. Can you remove the knob and use the triple header on a combo stand with a Junior receiver?

A: Yes, the Impact Baby Triple Header has Combo 1-1/8" Pin / 5/8" Receiver for mounting.

Q: 8. what grade/type of steel are they using? Eazy test will cheap magnets stick to it?

A: The unit is chrome-plated steel. For the type you would need to contact the manufacturer as that level of details is not published.

Q: 9. Would a Matthews Infinity Arm plus this Matthews Hollywood Baby Jr. Triple Riser Stand make a decent tripod stand in for a lightweight mirrorless camera? https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1251333-REG/matthews_429627_infinity_arm_kit.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1251333-REG/matthews_429627_infinity_arm_kit.html/a

A: I'm afraid that you have no very good idea of how big and tremendously heavy the Riser Stand is, so I'd have to say that you'd be insane to use it as a stand-in for a tripod to hold a lightweight camera. Yes, the Stand is on wheels, but better to use a really lightweight stand from any one of many tripod manufacturers, that you could pick and move with a few fingers on one of your hands.

Q: 10. Does this work for both moving coil or moving magnet phonos?

A: Unfortunately the manufacturer does not specify which cartridges are recommended, however we would recommend this unit for use with MM cartridges for best results.

[Power In, blue] RDL's XLR jacks offer an attractive alternative to locking panel/wall jacks that eventually fail to lock/unlock. The Decora style makes it easy to match with other connectors in their line.

[Power In, blue] Bought this because I wanted something that would just work in the Ubiquiti 8-port POE switch. It works and that's what's important.

[RDL TP Format-A] Plugged it into the uplink on a UDM Pro. Picked it up and worked perfectly with a 2.5Gbps port on my router.

[RDL TP Format-A] I put it in my USW Enterprise 24 PoE to provide a 10gbe port for a NAS. It runs at that speed and while it gets warm, it’s not what I’d call hot. Supposedly it’s cooler running than some other SFP+ 10gbe modules.
