The black RDL DB-XLR2 Decora Wall Plate XLR 3-Pin Female Male Blackfeatures a 3-pin XLR female and a 3-pin XLR male connector with terminal block connectors in the rear. It can be mounted in the separately-sold WB-1U and WB-2U Universal Wall Boxes.

Just make sure that the device you are connecting the VXLR-Plus to (i.e. your camera or recorder), has 48 volt phantom power enabled and you should be good to go.

A: Hello Ben. The VXLR Plus is a 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male adapter and converts phantom power of P48 down to plug in power (2-5v). If that's what you need to do and you have the proper connections then, yes, it should work. If you don't need power then the Rode VXLR would work just as well.
