The stainless steel RDL DS-RLC10KM Remote Level Control Muting Rotary Stainless Steelfrom RDL DS-RLC10KM Remote Level Control Muting Rotary Stainless Steelis a remote level control panel featuring a mute button, designed for VCA modules. The MUTE button alternately mutes or un-mutes the audio in the associated RDL VCA product. A LED mute indicator glows red when the output is muted (0 volts dc), and turns green when the output is active (dc output voltage set by control). The front panel has 10 graphic increments which provide a visual LED indication of the level setting. The DS-RLC10KM contains a long life 10 kΩ potentiometer for setting the control voltage. It can be installed in a standard one-gang electrical box.

A: The remote is compatible with the 5D Mk II camera. If you have a different Mk II model please indicate which specific so I can further research the compatibility. For the 5D MK II camera, the camera's instruction manual details how to set up the use of the remote control on page 102. Access the AF-Drive button on the top of the camera and select the remote control option there. Q: 3. Will it work with a 40D?

A: Unfortunately I dont believe the 40D has an IR receiver so the answer is no it's not compatible. To go wireless you will need to go with a RC unit which will require a separate sensor connected to the 3 pin remote connection on your camera. I currently use the Vello FreeWave on my 5D mike and it seems to be pretty reliable although nowhere near as compact.

Q: 4. Is it compatible with either the Canon EOS-R6 or Canon EOS-1Dx Mark III?

A: The Canon RC-6 remote is compatible for use with the Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Digital Camera as indicated on page 433 of the Canon EOS R6 Advanced User Guide. However, the Canon RC-6 remote is not compatible for use with the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III Digital Camera.

A: If I remember correctly, the switch controls the delay in seconds before the shutter activates after clicking the remote.There are settings 0 or 2.

[0.45 lb] I bought this from B&H in June 2014. It's now Dec 2019, and this amp is still performing flawlessly. I use it to combine 3 different audio sources into a single output that I distribute to various powered speakers throughout my house. I like that I can set the amplification for each source to make each source equal volume on the output. That way I don't have to constantly jockey the volumes when I play a new source. I also love that I don't have to switch anything around. I can play all three (or four) source at the same time if I want, or just stop one and start the other without having to touch any input switches or anything. I have my computer, my bluetooth adapter, and my record player pre-amp all on this thing, and I can easily just start playing the new source without touching anything. I love it. I have it mounted vertically behind the little table that holds the livingroom computer so if I do ever need to adjust anything, it's quick and easy. I do sometimes use the knob to adjust the volume of my record player input. 5
