This Sandies 340 ON AIR Light with LEDs 110VAC to 12VDC Driveruses LEDs as the light source and displays "ON AIR" horizontally in bright red when turned on. When off, it's totally blacked out, leaving no confusion about whether it's off. It has a solid steel frame and a thick, red plexiglass faceplate. Use it mounted on standard, single gang boxes or with wall anchors.

This light features a built-in 110 VAC to 12 VDC LED driver that allows you to use AC power (power cord not included).

A: Unfortunately Sandies and other manufacturers do not offer an LED sign that says "LIVE MIC" but Sandies does have the same sign with "RECORDING" which we do have available in stock. Q: 3. Product description says it can be used with an AC power cord. Is that not the case? The previous Q&A says only hard-wired.

A: The Sandies 393 Three-Sided ON AIR Light with LEDs can be used with a power cord but it does not come with one. You would have to wire it to one for that compatibility.

Q: 4. Is this rectangular or triangular? The only ONE picture shows very little and I am trying to determine how it hangs if three sides show and are illuminated?

A: This is rectangular in shape. Three of the sides are lit, and the fourth side would be mounted to a wall.

Q: 5. How does this connect to the wall?

A: This unit can be connected to the wall on a standard, single gang box or with wall anchors.

Q: 6. I would like this to light blink on and off. Is this possible with this fixture?

A: No. This is a simple On or Off fixture.No blinking. Power cord is not included. A flasher adaptor (similar to what one would use to flash Christmas lights) may be bought at a local hardware store.

Q: 9. How do you control it? Is there a remote or manually unplugged or wired into a switch?

A: The Sandies 343 Three-Sided ON AIR Light does not come with a remote or switch, but it can be wired to a switch for ease of use if the user has the electrical expertise to do so.

[LED strip] Arrived quickly, just in time to install over our home voice over booth. Looks great! Don't throw the light diffuser sheet away. We almost did and thought we would only see the red lights, making the word unreadable. The sheet between the lights and recording is very important! 5

[LED strip] I mounted this unit outside wall of the room I use to play guitar. My would come in while I was recording. She said one day, just stick a note on the door so that I know you are recording. So I Googled recording lights and found this light. Looks great, when it's on it is very readable. And when its off, you cannot see the word recording. 5
