Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How wide is the strap?

A: Dimensions: 58" x 2.12" x 0.75" Inches

Q: 2. Does it fit a kodak az528 pixpro?

A: Yes, you can connnect the USA GEAR TrueSHOT CAM-STRAP (Galaxy) to Kodak PIXPRO AZ528 Digital Camera (Black) strap loops.

Q: 3. Can this be used for panorama (with left/right slide)?

A: As a pathologist, I was trained in macrophotography of surgical or autopsy organ specimens. This specialized type of lens/camera cradle is designed to perform the following: 1. Permit the normal lens focusing for general composition 2.Lock the camera/lens together as one rigid unit and then, using a combination of the tension and focusing knobs, finely move them forward/backward for final focusing. At these distances D.O.F. is minimal: rigidity and enough lens clearance for shadowless lighting and, often, backlighting are required. Obviously, lateral or rotary movement, such as for panoramas, are not pertinent.I am an active customer of B&H; I went into this detail to help your company understand your product. There are, doubtless, good books on panoramic photography, but mine is from 1996 - obsolete.Regards,Harold Block, M.D.

Q: 4. I just received this product and the two screws were in a little plastic bag. They do not fit through the opening in the sliding rail so there is now way that I can mount my camera. Am I missing something about assembling this product?

A: One end of the rail is threaded, just screw into that thread up through the rail.

Q: 5. is the same color of black ? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/611134-REG/Avenger_A2022DCB_A2022DCB_Turtle_Base_Century.html/specs

A: Those two are not similar C stands. The silver one is a sliding leg. The black one linked is a turtle base.

Q: 6. Can you use this strap with an Arca-Swiss mounting plate on your camera?

A: Si lo uso, y seguido. pero no es muy efectivo ya que la base se desplaza hacia los costados; esto se debe a que el punto de apoyo se encuentra en el extremo opuesto donde se ajusta la correa.

Q: 7. What is the thread size connection on the bottom where it is attached to the tripod?

A: By default, the Slik Sliding Arm II comes with a 1/4"-20 bushing installed, but that can be removed to reveal the standard 3/8"-16 mounting thread that most tripods employ on the legs.

Q: 8. I'm seeing different lengths mentioned for this strap- what is the shortest adjustable length?

A: The USA GEAR TrueSHOT CAM-STRAP (Galaxy) has a minimum length of 38".

Q: 9. How high does the sliding arm go up without the top pole (so it's not 8 feet tall) ?

A: The sections of the column would be less than 50".

Q: 10. Does it come with a Camera Compartment (adjustable dividers)? Camera Compartment size please?

A: Unfortunately, the Vanguard VEO Active Birder 56 Spotting Scope Bag / Hiking Backpack (Gray, 47L) does not include a camera compartment.

[0.45 lb] This bag is great, the insert has enough room for me to fit my Sigma 18-35, Canon 7D2, Filter pouch, and a bunch of other accessories. Or I can put in it only my 7D2, 18-35, and a Sigma 100-400. It has a large front pocket perfect for a hydration bladder. I love that it can hold trekking poles. Very handy. Keep in mind only the 30L version has a waist belt, but for me I don't need it so the 23L is fine. You still have plenty of space for a lunch, snacks, and raincoat in the top area. Try this bag out! You will not be dissapointed.

[Black] I just walked a couple of miles with 20 lbs in my new Ruggard day pack and it was pretty comfortable.

I was able to fit a smaller Cannon DSLR with EFS 18-55 mm f2.8 lens, 50 mm f1.4 lens, 10-18 mm f4.5 lens, battery charger and spare battery, and set of Tiffen filters with room to spare. I like being able to put on one pack strap and swing the pack in front of me allowing me to open the pack side pocket, slide out the lens case and remove the camera. Super easy and safe.

I inserted a two liter bladder into the computer slot, wrapped in a plastic bag just in case of water seepage (highly unlikely if you have secured and tested the closure) There is no slot for the water tube so I had to tie a loop of cord to the hanging loop, allowing me to attach the bladder’s hook and keep the weight higher on my back. I brought both zippers up next to the bladder tube and put a small carabiner through each zipper pull, so that the bag would not unzip.

Hung as in the product photos, my Manfredo Be Free tripod would not fit more than one leg in the stretchy pocket. I tried switching to the other side pocket. With an empty pack I was able to get the tripod into the pocket upside down, and then tied off the legs at the top. I was still able to insert the camera box from the other side without a problem. This will cause less wear and tear on the pocket.

I had enough room to easily put in a down jacket, rain parka, hat, gloves, and had room for food, first aid, etc. A long outside pocket is perfect for miscellaneous camera gear. One of the best features is the attached black rain cover. When it is in place, you have no idea that it is covering an expensive tripod and camera equipment. Very useful feature especially when traveling on public transport.

The designers clearly put a lot of thought into the photographer’s needs. Add a hook for the bladder and a hole for the drinking tube to exit the pack and it would be almost perfect.

[Yes] Great daily backpack for short hikes! It is so stylish and comfortable, I don't feel any back strain. It has well-designed pockets. There is a small access pocket on shoulder strap, although phone doesn't fit there. Holders for your hiking poles. And this backpack is truly water-resistant.

[0.45 lb] I love this bag. It can hold a ton of stuff. The bag itself is very light, but the build quality is fantastic. Made with very good material. The stitching and seams appear to be very durable, and the zippers are strong. And it has so many places to store things, with a very efficient and user-friendly design. I love that it comes with an internal/removeable camera case with straps for lenses, cameras, batteries and even places to store SD cards. The internal camera bag has movable padded dividers so you can arrange it any way you want. Or you can remove the camera case and give yourself a huge amount of room in the center to pack all kinds of things. The bag itself has multiple storage areas, compartments, exterior straps and pouches. It has 2 side pouches and straps to store a small tripod, walking stick, water bottle or anything else you'd like. There is also an internal compartment to store a 17 laptop. The side zippers allow easy access to the compartments. Just put the backpack on one shoulder and you can unzip and get to most things without having to stop and put the backpack on the ground. The backpack is weather resistant, but also comes with a separate rain cover found in a discreet bottom pouch just in case of really bad weather. That is a great addition. It is also very comfortable to wear. The weight distribution feels good even when it is fully loaded. This is important if you plan to use it for hiking or long distances. I also really like the color scheme and design. It looks great. This is a fantastic backpack for outdoor activities, video work or just as a great storage backpack for travel. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[Yes] It's not only the cool factor but with this strap you don't feel like you're dragging gear. Once adjusted to your liking your camera feels suspended. No much weight dragging you down, like my all leather straps which are awesome looking but stiff and you get to feel all the weight of your gear.

[Yes] In preparation for my trip to Alaska at the end of May, I have been researching cameras and best lenses to bring, type of backpack, walking sticks and or monopod or tripod, clothing, and more.
Today I received my new Trekking Poles from B&H in NYC. it took a few days longer to receive due to the Jewish Hokiday of Sukkah.
As Fed Ex rolled up I thought we were getting some art from Co one day earlier. I didn't expect the poles since I never received a shipping notI ce. I was pleasantly surprised, removing poles from the box.
It was well packed and surprisingly bigger than the poles themselves.
I have two sets of poles. One set is lightweight and made of carbon with great shock reduction. I have used them happily for two years, mostly in the summer in Breckenridge.
In my search I googled trekking poles convertible to a Monod. The less I take in accessories the more room I have for lenses.
I chose the Kahuna Sticks FWS-26. Weight 12 oz each. Removable cork handle allows mounting of camera body directly, or on a ball head. I will discuss my camera and lenses in another post. I have a Newer ball head.
The bottom rubber tip pops if to reveal metal pointed ends for walking on gravel, dirt, etc it underwear to allow mounting a removable tripod base on the 3/8 inch screw. This was a separate purchase. Customer Service was helpful answering my question if my tripod base would fit. I will recommend they add this an accessory to the poles. A photo of the Specs in included.
I immediately set it up, took some photos of the poles, ballhead and tripod base by Koolehaoda Mini Tripod purchased elsewhere.
The poles cost $89.97 with no shipping costs. Kahuna wanted same amounts for two plus $15.00
Preliminary trial of setup- easy. Three screw parts tighten sufficiently to secure poles.
Height washouts be suitable for most shots.
I will take some outings with the poles over the coming weeks.
So glad I found these!
So I highly recommend these as an accessory.

[Yes] I bought Nanum to wear during the upcoming ski season. On a whim I used it as my personal item on a flight for an overnight trip. I could not believe how much I was able to pack in and still remain a comfortable carry! I own a larger 20L Thule backpack that I was very happy with. The Nanum was smaller and lighter but still allowed for many items. The rigid back frame kept the bag off my back and allowed for air to circulate. The smaller top pocket had just enough spaces to organize smaller items but didn't waste space with mutiple, limited functionality pockets found on larger packs. A bonus was the removable waiststrap. Thanks Thule!

[Black] I have never owned a 15L pack but wanted to try one for hikes where I didn't need to take much with me. It was so nice to find a pack that feels sturdy with great useful features, but isn't over engineered. I was skeptical that this would be too small but I am really happy with how it has worked out. It is a great trail companion, or personal carry on while flying. I can even drape a rain coat over top, as you would climbing rope, and cinch it down with the two side straps if I want. The side water bottle sleeves fit a Nalgene bottle. I am most happy with how wide it opens up. Some bucket style lids just don't open up enough, this one allows you to see everything comfortably and access it with ease. I will say that the narrower tapering of the pack isn't the best for fitting a laptop. I would suggest the size up (25L) if you are looking for something to use more for that intention. If you are looking for a bag that has great versatile function, is comfortable to carry, made from quality material, and fits your essentials, this is a great choice.

[Yes] Purchased this day hike bag to replace my backpack with no regrets. It got me down to Dripping Springs in the Grand Canyon and back. Light weight and easy fitting. Light weight but still rugged. I love it. Other hikers commented on it too.
