[1.355 lb] While I use my California Sunbounce Pro, the 4'x6' version more, this one is slightly larger and provides and amazing swath of light. Where I see people having problems with the corners, is when people place the reflector on the ground, instead of holding above ground, especially if the ground is concrete or sand, you will wear out the corners this way, though they are easy to fix. The key to making this product last, mount it on a C-stand or have your assistant hold it off ground. Great product, but you have to use it properly.

[1.355 lb] I have been using California Sunbounce products for around 20 years. Unlike most products, the quality your used to, is still present. This is a welcomed surprise in an industry where we often accept a continuous decay in build quality. As for shooting, shaving nearly a stop off the top end while decreasing contrast does help. We can all dump 2400 Jules on a portrait client, however, families aren't models and I prefer a more understated look. Production doubles as I can shoot two groups because I have the good light sooner in the day. The kit has a great boom that sure exceeds the capabilities of my previous jury rigs. Expensive? Yes. Tradiotional quality comes at a price - It also comes with a service life

[1.355 lb] after wearing out my sun swatter for the past 4 years it was time for a replacement screen. My frame is in good shape but the material had seen better days. Now my sun swatted is like new with a clean sturdy new screen. 2/3 diffusion greatly softens sunlight and I also use in daily in the studio for soft- even lighting on product and food photography.

[1.355 lb] I've met with the designer, Peter Geller, on various occasions and I know him very well. In fact, when I first purchased my California Sunbunce products in 2004, I reached out to Peter and after about a year, we finally met and became friends. He even came out to one of my shoots in the Virgin Islands and I've visited him in Germany. The first time he visited he showed me the proper way to use his products, as like most photographers, we tend to not read the instructions and do what our gut tells us. I have used many of his products since then and they have never failed me. Yes, this larger Sun Swatter can be a little more challenging in the windy areas, but with help, you can make it work just perfect.
